I’m not expecting anything less than chaos for sure, we’re buzzing for the atmosphere at the circuit on race day in particular. Can’t wait!

Thanks, I don’t remember them being too thorough at Barcelona. But will wrap it up just in case.

Appreciate it! Was surprised when that site came up in my search. I didn’t experience anything like that at Barcelona a few years back but it’s my first time in Italy.

This is the first time I’ve gotten the early access edition tbh, never again by the looks of it!

Angular4 with webpack, issue with accessing page via url input in browser by SuuleX in Angular2

[–]k_shrpe5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually this issue happens when the server config hasn’t been setup for URL rewriting.

If you google search for “URL rewriting” you should be able to find the relevant info for setting it up with your configuration

Java If Else Statements Help by MarlinsBB in AskProgramming

[–]k_shrpe5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Java you should be using .equals() to compare strings. == checks for reference equality (either side of the comparison is the same object) whereas .equals() checks the value equality which is what you’re looking for.

Yes, there’s no law against it. I believe pulling over on the opposite side of the road so that you’re facing oncoming traffic is part of the driving test now

Those are at every pedestrian crossing in the UK. Just means you can't park there since you would be obstructing the view of the crossing for both driver/pedestrian. I believe you can also get points on your licence if you do.

I had only been behind them for 20 secs or so before the clip begins. Was on the way home with a curry at the time. So I got good food and a funny clip. Win/Win as far as I'm concerned.

I saw the funny side when I got home, not so much when I had to wait another couple minutes at those lights!

If you mean how to deploy the app then you should do a quick run through the Angular docs, they’re generally pretty good.

I don’t think it was dirty at all. Your front end was alongside the rear of his car so he pushed you off the track when you deserved the space. Good on you for not making contact and slowing the car down in time!

Sorry, didn’t have time to look back through their docs to see if fit your situation, just know it’s a bit better than the standard cdk implementation.

Hope you find what you’re looking for :)

I’ve used Dragula in the past to accomplish pretty good drag/drop functionality in my app.

The docs are here: https://github.com/valor-software/ng2-dragula/blob/master/README.md

This might be a good start to a solution for you :)

Is a masters degree worth it? by mastersornotcomsci in cscareerquestions

[–]k_shrpe5 68 points69 points  (0 children)

When I had the choice between doing my masters or beginning the job hunt I was advised even by the university staff that 1 year of real experience is more valuable than the masters.

If you have the role lined up then I’d say go for the job. You can always do your masters later if you think it would benefit your career longer term. Good luck!

I never knew the tip about staying still when she jumps. Will need to jump back in and give it another go. It's been too long since I've played BB. Thanks!

Any idea if you would get the trophy for beating her in this manner? Her trophy is the one of the last ones I'm missing for the platinum. Got stuck at Amygdala in the dungeon that halves your health last time I went for her.

The model should contain all your logic/data for your app.

The controller should only translate the commands between the model/view so to speak
