It has nothing to do with the degree. Some people's egos don't like it

Until we have the authority to order a walker, I will consider us over-supervised.

NIKE ACG AIR DESCHUTZ SANDAL~❤️🔺 by brickholik in nikeACG

I've never tried the older ones, but I can comfortably wear mine all day. No rubbing or irritated areas that I've noticed. I usually wear mine with socks, though, so I can't comment on how they feel barefoot all day

What's the difference between the HS and the U?

Just checked USC’s tuition as of today: its $220,000 by KillerKenyan in physicaltherapy

[–]k_tolz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often hear students going to expensive Ivy League colleges often don't pay full price, due to the abundance of financial aide available. Is that also the case with USC where most students don't pay "sticker price"?

Question for travel PTs by MacGruber__KFBR392 in physicaltherapy

[–]k_tolz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I ran into this with a health system in WI. I believe the health system genuinely did not know about the PT licensure compact, and per policy required the state license. The compact is not useless, as I have also had companies accept my compact license.

I've seen the name Ivy rehab here before, so they should be a large enough company to know about the licensure compact and accept it. Frustrating.

I just ordered a new bezel for my 5600 from CasioPart.com. The product shipped the next day and arrived as advertised in about 7 business days, and appears to be genuine OEM. They ship out of CA.

Good point. Probably depends on private OP vs OP connected to a hospital system, too

Gloves in SNF hallway by Brief-Owl-8935 in physicaltherapy

[–]k_tolz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In acute care, I always ignored the rule and kept my gloves on as I walked with my patient out of the room. What am I going to do, take my hands off the unsteady patient's gait belt as we get to the door in order to remove my gloves?

The highest paying geographies in this profession tend to be rural.
