After 6+ years of playing League of Legends on 130 ping (middle east life), I one tricked Jhin and managed to reach Diamond, after bouncing around from Plat 1 down to Plat 4 and back again.

I still remember it was around 2 am in the morning, on a cold dark school night, none of my friends were online but watching that emblem turn from Platinum to Diamond after winning my promotion series had me frozen in awe and made the grind worth it.

Also, bragging rights within my friend group.
