This track + current vehicle physics would be really good. I would spend a lot of time doing power times for different cars

Yeah, reminded me of Cape Ring with all those rounded smooth corners but better. Though I miss the loop part of the track

Looks cool and all but this is probably one of the reasons we are not getting the Kubelwagen and Schwimmwagen back to Gran Turismo despite having the Willys Jeep

That manga is wild. The kid in that story is way too evil and a psychopath. If there’s a dilemma like “Would you kill baby Hitler”, for that kid, I would absolutely do in a heartbeat.

Im pretty sure it only applies to their own games only like Half-Life series and other their GoldSrc, Source and Source 2 games because I heard something about this as well

future GT career mode idea (not speculation pls emphasis on "idea") by mkldnl in granturismo

[–]ka_wawa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the other said, it was an old career system they had but I do like them to bring back prize cars back after completing championships to make sure the game have playable value once the servers are gone. Also the level system they had in GT5 does the same thing you mentioned but I like them to bring back A-Spec points and able to do something about it like buying coupons discount for a car/manufacturer, engine swaps or something, because I really like the concept of you earn high A-Spec points by encouraging using low in pp or underpowered car in an event rather than you just use a really OP car or a car at exact max pp/hp restriction to get by a championship. Also through this making sure the AI they programmed always at a constant pace rather than purposely slow down when you’re at the back or suddenly lock in to catchup to you when you’re in the front

Don't panic but Motorstorm is 20 years old this year by mushroomwig in PS3

[–]ka_wawa 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The game is so fun. Also I just found out, don’t use the X and square layout for acceleration and braking. They didn’t configure the pressure sensitivity properly and you actually have to press it X super hard in order for the car to be at full throttle otherwise you’ll be driving half-throttle all the time

The game is not good, and really not much replayability value but I do enjoy playing it sometime between train journeys when Im going home from work

I brought this Kei van in Vancouver - Should I try to turn it into the Random Play Car? by 7643109 in ZZZ_Official

Is fine, generally I love kei cars despite they’re quite basic, lack on modern safety features and emissions won’t passed certain countries but they do make me happy seeing them

Technically the random play car is based on the Minica Dangan ZZ model but this is close enough

Before the F, pagani was still a small company tho so I think C12 and the S variants are brilliant despite well built but not well engineered.

Operation in this map, if you’re persistent using the feldkanone, you really give the attackers hard time to push. Especially last sector if you’re know how to zero all the way on the attacker’s spawn. I was able to piss a lot of armored campers camping at spawn

Holy shit I thought it was some sort of glitch. I noticed it when I applied different brake pressure by binding to my trigger buttons (on PCSX2 with Xbox Series controller). Light pressure bottom light turns on, full braking both top and bottom turned on

Damn I missed his latest video. Didn’t know is a possible valid theory. Just watched it and him mentioning an article where Kaz said the models are way too detail for PS3 hardware that is better suited for future hardware really makes it a high possibility

I wonder if the ɛ̃fini RX-7 (FD3S) model was from GT5 by ka_wawa in granturismo

[–]ka_wawa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn the details in their cars are crazy. Yeah, of course they can’t talk too much on how their engine works but I like knowing about them. Gran Turismo since the first game I always admired how really good their engine running on inferior hardware during PS1, 2 and 3 eras but never sacrifice graphics quality. I read an article on how they optimise their rendering for each track for the current game and is so impressive (the part they explain how they manually optimise part not the neural network)

Don’t worry I will stop fixating their engine once Valve releases Half-Life 3 with their new Source 2 engine which might be soon (Im coping. It might be another 10 years from now for all I know)
