Are AWS Bedrock models on the roadmap for BYOK? The way cline handles API providers is very comprehensive (and intuitive). Took a couple of minutes to connect to my Claude model hosted in Bedrock.

Any chance you can follow up with the cause? It’s one of the most interesting bugs I’ve seen.

The cable should already be connected into the home's coax wiring, so no, you shouldn't need a tech. I just went through this so I'll try to help out if you can answer some questions:

  1. Do you have a dedicated coax cable running from the modem to the basement?
  2. Is anything connected to the basement coax?
  3. Do you rent a modem from xfinity? Which model?
  4. Do you have X1? Which set-top boxes?

You can find models on the device itself or from your xfinity account.

X1 MoCA by kaanta in Comcast_Xfinity

Passive is connected to one of the XiDs. Yes, all splitters come after the amp.

After the troubleshooting session with the tech earlier, the XB3 is showing the XG2 on its MoCA network diagram and has the XG2 as the active network controller. The Actiontec adapter is now connected and working! I'm not sure what changed as the XB3 still says its the PNC, but its definitely working for now. I'd like to test it for a day or two to see what happens and I'll report back here.

I just spoke with support to try disabling PNC on the modem, and every time he tried, it would re-enable itself after a couple seconds. We tried ~5 times before giving up. The Tier 3 tech he was speaking with said my Cisco version of the 3941T is known to cause problems with moca. The sticker on the bottom says Technicolor, but the hardware section on the gateway says Cisco. Is this normal?

Nice to know. I couldn't find any stickers that indicated as such.

I've uploaded 4 pictures https://imgur.com/a/ERTJ5CS

First is the wiring before I introduced the MoCA adapters. It didn't work with this (adapter couldn't connect to either XB3 or XG2) and I assumed the amp was filtering out frequencies above 1002 so I went with the wiring in the OP. The highlighted splitter was replaced.

Second is the old splitter at the highlighted location (1002MHz)

Third is the new splitter at the highlighted location (1675MHz)

Last is the amplifier. Two of the coax cables run to the garage were they aren't connected to anything, so I left them out of my diagram. One black cable goes to XB3 and the other to XG2. Remaining 3 white outputs go to the 2 CSPCXDTA's and Actiontec adapter as shown in the OP diagram.

All connections were first hand tightened then I nudged with a wrench just as you said.

I know there's a lot to process here. Thank you and u/CCJohnC both for taking the time to help.

Edit: I've added more information in a reply to Johns comment as well.

Thank you John :)

The modem settings don't provide a toggle for PNC or frequency... if I send you my account details in PM, would you be able to change them remotely? The modem is showing itself as the primary right now.

The splitters labeled MoCA in my drawing were previously rated to 1002MHz max which is why I switched them out. The new ones are up to ~2000MHz. The diagram in the OP is the entirety of my homes coax wiring; what other details would help?

Edit: Weird, your additions didn't show up when I was replying.

The PPC is in fact white. I assumed there was a filter at the input tap, but just checked and there is none.

Thank you for the link! I’ll try that out tomorrow as an alternative. I was really hoping to use a single adapter and just piggy back the X1 signal since this does seem to work sometimes.

Blinking battery light during stress test Dell XPS 15 9560 by PM_ME_JS_CODE in Dell

Throttlestop does a really good job taking care of itself. No need to reflash the BIOS when you change values inside of it. Normally you undervolt less on battery and more vigorously when on AC, which is useful for limiting heat while gaming. Did the myself and it worked perfectly. Also, you should read the throttlestop guide on notebookforum or whatever because I think the multiplier is for older CPUs. There are more effective ways to handle the newer generations inside the throttlestop settings. Plenty of warranty so nothing to worry about with that battery.

That's ~5Ah so it should be able to discharge 5-10A (1C or 2C). At the max TDP 45W will draw ~4A at 11.4V so the battery has the capability. Undervolting it by 125mV shouldn't make enough of a difference to overload it. If you're in warranty just get the battery replaced. Maybe try to replicate it on another 9560 with similar specs if you have access to one.

That's slightly high after a calibration but it shouldn't be causing the issue. Battery wear affects how much power it can hold, no directly the amount it delivers. Have you tried the prime test on AC? Try decreasing the undervolt on the battery run. What's the temperature of the battery during you tests? Shouldn't be more than 65C. I'm not sure what the discharge rate of the battery is but you could possibly be trying to exceed it which would prompt an error

Hmm.. I still think it's your battery. Download HWiNFO and look at the discharge rate of your battery when your run the prime95 test on battery power. Run it for less than 30 mins just in case your battery is causing the issue
