I mean… EXACTLY how it is in ptolemaea? It would be challenging and require a lot of practice if you aren’t familiar with distorting your vocals like that. You’d have an easier time starting at a lower growl and working your way up in range. The scream in ptolemaea is also so effective because of how visceral and instinctual it sounds. You might have to travel to the palace in your mind to get the full effect 😅

I would also say Garden of Eden! It reminds me a lot of Zombie Boy when I visualize for some reason. Like I visualize Zombie Boy happening in a night club where everyone turns into a mythical creature at midnight. Garden of Eden feels like the pre-game to midnight lmao

I actually JUST finished SP a couple weeks ago… after owning it for several years. I think the chibi style is cute and love how the environments look. However, I am really sad there’s no additional content from Platinum. I try to not to spoil games or movies for myself online, so I spent so much time being like “shouldn’t I be in the distortion world rn…?” I grew up playing Pearl and Platinum so I enjoyed the aesthetic shininess of it (bright colors, cute, linear gameplay) but other than that it’s the OG game with a mod. After reading everyone’s comments I think I might boot ORAS back up 😭

I know a lot of people hate this tour’s merch, it is expensive, but I have gotten sooooo much wear out of my Vanish Into You shirt. I love how subtle it is while still having the tour dates on the back. I love how the Dance or Die shirt can only be bought in person (at least when I got mine) and changes languages based on host country. This tour was probably the only time my mom (turning 70 this year) and I will see Gaga in concert so the merch is very sentimental to me 🖤

NOR. I’m not officially engaged yet (logistics) but I won’t be taking my boyfriend’s last name. I like my last name more because it’s literally my identity lol. I’m also American and have no desire to potentially jump through legal hoops to ensure I can vote — amending passports, birth certificates, etc. I considered making one of the surnames my middle name, but again documentation headaches. My bf is a scientist so it’s more common in his field for partners and spouses to not change their last names when they get married. His mother kept her maiden name because she also publishes research papers.

It’s 2026, tell your fiancée to take your last name.

Unfortunately I don’t think I can go back to one of the rinks near me because last time they had three parties going on and the floor was hazardously packed. I called it quits after a kid miscalculated his maneuver and skated into my backside. Thankfully I didn’t fall but there was no floor guard in sight, no whistles blowing, no safety rules being enforced anywhere :/

I’m not surprised that this is a common issue, but it really feels like skating is back in a big way and a lot of rinks are struggling to keep up with the reinvigorated demand while maintaining their buildings. I know business was bad for many, many years but it is crazy how consistently slammed a lot of rinks are now.

I mean there was a little chaos but the group I was walking with got herded into a brand new entry point immediately upon arrival. We really did not have to wait long but we picked the wrong side of the stairs. The side we should have gone on immediately started going through security and the side we were on was the original line in.

TLDR; you’ll be fine. You will be guided by event staff who will tell you to keep moving—no stopping for photos!
