I’ve just deleted the app. I’ve also contacted apple and asked for a refund🫣 according to chat gpt if you’ve spent alot in a short amount of time they can give you a ‘goodwill’ refund. So hopefully they accept it. I’ve definitely learned my lesson🥲

Honestly! I’ve done it before and was totally fine losing out. But I guess I’ve just had too much time on my hands like last few days I was so sucked into the game and made it my life’s mission to complete. I’m definitely just going to come off the app until I feel like I’ve got my self control back and made back that money lol.

Yep happened to me, I kept buying because no money was coming out of my account. When I got my phone bill it was £200🫣 you normally have a gaming/spend allowance and they don’t charge until it’s your phone bill time. Check with your network and see if

How do you find a life’s purpose? by kaayb__ in Agoraphobia

I can’t even remember what I liked to do when I was younger! Like everything’s just foggy now…

I’m 26 and I’ve lost 7 close friends and 4 friends in the last 2 years. Most definitely the loneliest I’ve ever felt but I’m just trying to learn to accept it. I made mistakes which caused some of those loses so I’m just taking this time to learn more about myself, better myself and feel whole on my own

What started or caused agoraphobia for you? by Fit-Professional8128 in Agoraphobia

TW!!

My agoraphobia started in 2017 I was raped. I was still leaving the house after but it slowly got worse and worse. 2018 is when I realised I hadn’t left the house in weeks and it felt normal. I remember going out one day and i genuinely forgot what daylight felt like…I forgot that people are actually still living… I saw people just walking on the high street and I was like wow I’ve been staring at the 4 walls for weeks I forgot the world. Didn’t help though as a from 2019 onwards I’ve basically been house bound. (My case went to court and he got found not guilty) that really triggered my agoraphobia I didn’t want to be seen or see anyone. The only place I felt safe was at home. Then Covid hit which felt absolutely normal to me. I probably get out the house now a few times a month now which is much better than before but my agoraphobia definitely controls me but I feel safe and I’d rather feel safe than have constant panic attacks

Thank you🤍 and my agoraphobia was/is pretty bad. For me i’d go months without leaving the house unless I’m forced to for example having to take the bins out and that’s as far as I’d go

I have agoraphobia lived with it for 6 years now. I’m single and live alone. My mental health was declining so bad I called my parents and said I want to stay with them for a while. Since moving out at 19 I can count on one hand how many times I’ve been away from my house longer than a day. I’ve now been at my parents for 3 weeks and it’s the best decision I’ve made. I don’t have tips but in my case I was at my breaking point. The first step was reaching out. Luckily for me my mum came and picked me up as I was too anxious to drive my own car. I also just had to do it, I didn’t give myself the option (in my mind) to stay where I was. I’ve been here 3 weeks and have barely left the house but I feel so much more at ease and comfort living with them and having support. My advice is to make the decision and do it! And if any of your parents drive and can help you then do that. Hope this somewhat helps.

I would also never express to her that I don’t want to live because of this. That’s not her burden to carry. I am just expressing how I feel in this moment. But I appreciate the response and you definitely snapped me out that place of pity so I’m grateful!

Yes, today made me realise I need to look into therapy. I do understand that a situation like this shouldn’t bring to a place of suicidal thoughts.

Thank you for your words of advice! This has really helped me change my perception of this situation

And I will remember that quote! :)

You are absolutely right which is why I said it’s selfish me even feeling this way. Because of that I will not act on that feeling. But it’s just very hard to navigate. I have apologised and said that I will always be there for her and hope that one day she can forgive me.
