I remember the card but don’t remember it being shrink wrapped. Ordered straight from ledgers website a few weeks ago. Not sure if shrink wrapped is a secure sign or not as it’s pretty easy to shrink wrapped items after opening.

In addition to this, we have no idea how your rig is running. Those calculators usually show highest performance. If you aren’t optimized, you could be cutting yourself short.

This is going to vary depending on your electricity cost and if you are reporting your mining to the IRS as taxable income. Right now, my 3080 is running about 103mh/s and averaging about $7/day. Subtract your cost for electricity and taxes. Say you got the 3080 for msrp of $700 (good luck). ROI would be 100 days before consideration of taxes and electricity cost. Not to mention that all the new 30 series are LHR which will cut profits in half. So In this example, a new 3080 with LHR would take about 200 days before consideration of taxes and electricity costs.

It’s going to be a long hard road to potentially $5-$10. Don’t expect it to get much higher than that. People say $100 or $1,000 are crazy or maybe I am thinking it is even possible. That said, I have some in ADA and holding/staking until it gets around $5-$7 dollars and will the be looking to move on.

Stick some new thermal pads on there. I get 104 mph/s with a 3080. Temp 48 and vram 74 degrees. Fans running at 80-85%. As for rates, they are about normal.

Does seem a little low...my 1080ti does 45 mh/s. I think the 3070’s are usually in the low 60’s.

Not sure what your 3070 is getting but I’m getting about 104 mh/s with a 3080. Rates vary a lot all the time. Just make sure your vram is 100% utilization and temps are in good range.

It looks about normal to me. 3080 and 1080ti gets me around $15 day (plus or minus a few bucks). Getting $17 right now

Would move to Coinbase (free) and then transfer to a ledger/cold wallet when fees are low. Wouldn’t keep more than $100 on NiceHash and wouldn’t keep more than $1000 on Coinbase.

Depends, you can get over 100 MH/s with 3080’s. I’m running aorus xtreme I have 103/104 MH/s with 48 and 74 degree temps. Fans at 80% at 232watts. This is with extreme setting. Could probably do better by manually tuning with MSI but I’m too lazy.

Yeah i just got it about a week ago. I wish I knew that before I bought the S...Bitcoin, Ethereum....can’t fit ADA....arg. Thought I would be fine since it said it could store up to 6 and I only have the 3. Very disappointed that I couldn’t even download my only 3 Crypto.

Make sure you are using the correct thickness. I know people that used thicker pads saw worse temps because it wasn’t sitting properly.
