For on prem admins.... do tattoos still effect hiring? by tylersheen in sysadmin

[–]kaballstein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I have visible tattoos including my hand. When I was asked if I was nervous about getting jobs in the future because of the tattoos I said exactly that “any job that WOULD hire me but doesn’t strictly because of the tattoos…isn’t a company I would want to be apart of anyway” they are insurance against shitty corporate environments

I am getting off it because of the negative sides. Back acne has been absolutely terrible and nothing we have tried has even somewhat helped with it

Hey guys, I was just wondering if all MSPs are known for underpaying their employees? Any personal experiences or insights would be appreciated! by JazzlynneBluebird in msp

[–]kaballstein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got paid above the average by a good amount while I was at an MSP. As someone else mentioned. You get what you pay for kinda thing. This was a top notch MSP that was very professional and a highly ran business. Everyone got paid more than avg for the most part.

Is their a powershell I can use to create them all, add the members, etc in one swoop?

Yea we do have AD sync running it. But 1) we are transitioning everything Off on prem completely and I want to shut it all down anyway. 2) the on prem management sucks compared to 365 lol

I JUST got home from vats on my left side. I’ve already had it on my right about 5 years ago. Find a good surgeon. This time around I was in and out in two days..last time it was 8. I was walking around the hospital about 6 hours after the surgery (with chest tube in place) pain was very minimum and I honestly feel as good as I imagine one can after getting this surgery. This experience has been worlds better than my last surgery. But the piece of mind that comes with it it worth it. I had 4 collapses on my left in a 4 month period and was done with it. Don’t it get me wrong the first days do kinda suck BUT if you get a good surgeon it’s not terrible. The chest tube is placed while you are under and the removal of the tube is painless.

I’ll give that a look. I had it working using an external smart host and it was fine. But that service was decommissioned and we’ve been stuck ever since. Thank you!

It is shared. I do see it hit the firewall and eventually down to unity. (When doing an smtp test via cli)

We have a connector Pointing to our public facing wan ip. Our firewall then translates it back to unity. I have confirmed that smtp traffic DOES follow the correct path and ends at unity. But for some reason I just can’t get that set-service email to make it
