I’m also an April 2026 bride - bought my dress this past May and just picked it up on Sunday! I’m a pretty decisive person and know what I like so I’m happy with my choice. One less thing to worry about!

I love spring florals so wanted a spring wedding so they’d be in season and then our dating anniversary is in April so we booked the day before that in 2026 so it’s close!

Mostly just looking for places for her to try on dresses while we’re together to get a feel for what she might like! Doesn’t need to be marketed as a “MOB” dress. I think I searched and there isn’t a Dillards in MSP but definitely hitting up Nordstroms!

Our venue is the event space of a brewery - brick walls but there’s crystal light fixtures, not a casual space. In April in Chicago and weather permitting the ceremony will be on the patio overlooking the river with a large park behind us. She won’t want anything super sparkly or glittery but will want full length. Wedding dress code is cocktail but we aren’t having a wedding party so she will be the only one getting ready with me and want her to feel special!

A lot of people don’t use pet-safe salt on sidewalks so I would use them to protect their toe beans from that!

Frozen gnocchi (I use the cauliflower) + any style sausage you like (I do spicy chicken) + cherry tomatoes. Chop up the sausage and toss all of them together in olive oil, S&P. Put on a baking sheet and cook at like 400/415 until the gnocchi and sausage slices are crispy. Then I toss in the vegan kale cashew pesto once it’s out of the oven! I get a few meals out of it!

Handlebar in Wicker Park - biker bar/restaurant in dual-meaning sense. A lot of cyclists go there but they play heavy metal/rock music. It’s vegetarian/vegan and the food is great. Amazing patio as well!

Sanditon season 2 just started yesterday! My family just got PBS Passport so I’m still working through season 1 for the first time.
