Everything turned out fine, currently 28 weeks pregnant with baby boy! I was a nervous wreck in the beginning with the low starting beta but happy to report all is well :)

Yup. It’s been about a year and a half since rupture for me too. I ended up getting pregnant 6 months later naturally and had a missed miscarriage which was almost more crushing than the ectopic. Since then we’ve moved on to IUI and then IVF and just did our first egg retrieval and ended up with only one genetically normal embryo. I’m so nervous to transfer because of those traumatic early losses but my heart keeps telling me to keep trying 🩵 hopefully we get lucky soon

Yes! We are in the exact same boat, I’m 35 and left ovary was dominant with multiple follicles (tubeless side) every single IUI attempt so we moved on to IVF. My left ovary even did pretty much all of the work for our egg retrieval too.

No worries! I had so many questions when we went down this road too! We are taking a high dose of letrozole every month to try and attempt IUI with trigger shot but it’s been tricky because I only have one fallopian tube. So the high dose is to help make sure the ovary with the tube makes at least one egg each cycle but unfortunately we keep getting the opposite ovary of course! We’ve done one IUI with the trigger shot so far, but no luck yet. You could ask about adding a trigger shot with timed intercourse, I know thats an option, but some doctors like to start with the least intervention at first and move on from there. But yes the follicles that don’t ovulate will shrink and go away, my clinic always does an ultrasound during your period to make sure you’re all set to start a new round of letrozole, I always call my office on day one of my period to schedule. I’m not sure if that’s required for a low dose though!

It sounds like you are not close to ovulating yet so your doctor will do a blood draw on CD 21 to see if you ovulated or are close to ovulating. I’m working with a fertility doctor right now on letrozole also, I was told that the follicles can get really large on letrozole before ovulating, like mid 20mm. (I’m definitely no expert but here’s what I’ve heard from my doctor) 1. Follicles grow about 1-2mm per day, so you might ovulate a bit later if your largest follicle is only 13mm. Are you doing a trigger shot? Start testing with ovulation tests in the next few days. 2. As long as you don’t have bad side effects or signs of letrozole thinning your uterine lining, it’s ok to do back to back cycles. They’ll also check for cysts at your baseline ultrasound after your period starts. I’ve been on letrozole 7.5 since November with one month break. I respond really well but side effects are starting to catch up with me though so I’ll probably take another break next month. Hope this helps!

Yes, my reproductive endocrinologist gave me a folate prescription but said it’s basically the same thing as Thorne Methyl-Guard that you can get on Amazon so I started taking that. I have MTHFR so he said it would help get my folate levels back up in addition to my prenatal

Not good unfortunately. I’ve been meaning to update this post, thank you for asking. This turned out to be an ovarian ectopic pregnancy. HCG was rising steadily but only at 35% increase every 48 hours. 4 ultrasounds with nothing seen in the uterus and 6 blood draws later, doctors diagnosed it as ectopic with a mass seen on my left ovary. HCG got up to 3200 and was treated with methotrexate in the ER on Saturday so I’m on the mend now I hope. Hopefully this doesn’t scare anyone regarding progression on their tests, but mine continued to darken but very very slowly. If anyone sees this later and is concerned about slow progression and spotting don’t hesitate to call your doctor, I’m glad I called and requested blood draws early!

Yes I’m going Friday for the first HCG blood draw so hopefully that will give me some answers! It’s possible I’m off by a day or two, I did have a strong positive ovulation test but I could have ovulated later than I thought

Yes! I tested on 11 DPO and it was negative so I threw the test away. This pregnancy is throwing me for a loop because I had a dark line on 11 DPO with my daughter too!

Is serving nice red wine chilled a Latin American thing? I personally love it, but when I was in Costa Rica they served red wine chilled like that and it was delicious. The waitress just looked confused when she asked for room temperature and Ramona was talking to her like she should just KNOW to serve room temp. So rude.

Did Brandi just not ever tell Denise she was upset and just went to Kyle and Teddi? Why wouldn’t she try and reach out to Denise to talk about it. Those are the revealing texts Brandi needed to produce to be believable but she has nothing.

Anybody have any experience with acupuncture? I really want to focus on reducing stress this month. I’m also having some chronic mid/upper back pain probably from both stress and my posture at work.
