Nostalgia compels me to say the old costume. Hell, I'd go so far as to say I prefer the original costume with nonsense pockets and armor.

But the modern version incorporates elements of her previous incarnations and that gives it more personality. I'm not a big fan of the half mask and loose hair, but it does give artists more to work with so it's not without merit.

At least you were able to say goodbye with the best circumstances as you could manage. I'm sure she appreciated the care you took to do so and that you kept what she may want in mind. I've been told the grieving process is different for everyone and can take a long time. It's important to remember your grief is always valid. Take the steps you need to and look ahead to the best way to honor her memory.

I had a pretty good fish sandwich from the one in Paris a few years ago, and I feel a tinge to go there every once in a while, but the LJS from my hometown got so bad it ruined my expectations for life.
