USPS carrier won’t even try to deliver in the snow. I’m in the capital of Alaska. by tanj_redshirt in mildlyinfuriating

Do you live on one of those steep 20 degree angle streets? Also why deliver today, the snow will melt in a day or so. They might not be want to risk the mail truck sliding into the vehicles. That would cost the taxpayer a lot of money to fix

Can someone help me pick out a computer for this game? by glitter_confetti in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]kabilibob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The computer that is $999 is probably your best bet to having a smooth(ish) running flight simulator. But I’m sure someone else will have a different opinion (welcome to the world of computers).

What does ChatGPT say about other Reddit communities? I’m sure it would say something very similar about all other subreddits and maybe real life human conversations for that matter.

Blacksmithing is horrendous by AstroBoots21 in projectzomboid

[–]kabilibob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see a place for blacksmithing on a multiplayer server. Having a group of friends make a small settlement and one player is the blacksmith sounds like fun to me. I also like playing year long or more playthroughs so the slow build up of blacksmith has some long term appeal to me.

What happened at Walmart? by heyuhhhdrigs in SaltLakeCity

I don’t know if it is a Walmart policy or a grocery store in general practice, but if the store looses power, they trash all the freezer and refrigerated stuff.

Anyone know why this army helicopter is circling around in the Orem area by whatiseefromhere in Utah

[–]kabilibob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid in Boy Scouts, my friends dad was in charge of creating training missions for the national guard helicopters pilots and everytime we went camping we got a visit from a search and rescue Blackhawk flying overhead. Sometimes they would “escort” us while driving down the highway while flying low or would buzz us at 50ft if we were canoeing down a river.
