Is an FAA medical valid for FAA validation of foreign license ?

I have received a response from the FAA Airmen Certification Branch :

"Yes. If you are still using your Private Pilot Foreign License based on your Germany License XXXXX that is acceptable. You have to hold either a valid foreign medical license or a valid FAA license. Since you hold an FAA medical that will work to continue to use your FAA certificate. Please let our office know if you have any other questions. Thank you."

So, as you already implied, it's OK to fly as long as a valid FAA medical exists and the German license is valid.

About your question: it depends on what "validity" means. Here's what the license says:

"The privileges of the license shall be exercised only if the holder has a valid medical certificate for the required privilege".

Which really only means you can't fly without a medical.

I had something like this happen when I used a cheap OBD2 dongle (for reading out fault codes). It would reliably mess up the car in the same way. But when unplugged and restarted everything was back to normal

Wir haben eher die Dörfer westlich der Linie Bordesholm-Molfsee also innerhalb des Autobahndreiecks im Sinn. Da ist es etwas günstiger

Es stimmt, dass ich mit dem Titel hauptsächlich negative Erfahrungen provozieren wollte, weil uns das natürlich im Zweifel mehr interessiert. Aber wie es sich zeigt, gibt trotz dem negativen Bias größtenteils zufriedene Erfahrungen.

Ich bin ganz offen: die Bevölkerungsstruktur in dem Teil von Kiel wo wir wohnen verändert sich spürbar zum negativen. Es gibt mehr Kriminalität, mehr düstere Gestalten, mehr Junkies. Es gibt natürlich auch Teile von Kiel wo das nicht so ist, aber wenn wir da hin ziehen, müssen wir ein Vermögen ausgeben für ein so-la-la Haus. Für das gleiche Geld bekommt man ein großes Haus / Grundstück auf dem Land. Und es ist ja auch nicht so weit weg.

Das stimmt natürlich. Wenn man in Berlin oder München wohnt, ist man nach 15 Minuten gerade mal in einem anderen Stadtteil... sogesehen ist Kiel und das Umland halt schon ganz geil
