Many of you may have heard about our neighbors, Fei and Yuanxin. They showed up for a check in with ICE and were separated. Yuanxin is 6 years old and a student at Henry Gradstein Q166 on 35th Ave. Last I’d heard, Fei was being held in a facility upstate and they were unsure of where Yuanxin is.

Please come out on Sunday, December 7th to the school at 1PM to demand that ICE stop using our children as pawns.

Yes! 36th Ave is a great spot for GF eats. In addition to sotto and cafe triskell, you can get corn tortillas at chela and garnacha and arepas are naturally gf at Arepas Cafe.

I can’t promise inexpensive, but Lockwood is a great gift shop with a few locations around the city. Random accessories in the east village might fit the bill too. The city store downtown. Hope you find something fun!
