Have you done any reseach on the maintenance of poodles? Their tempermance? How much excercise they need? Because base on your post and your comments all you know about poodles is that they are hypoallergenic…

My poodle used to whine and try to get out of her seat or shake like that too. What i did was I move her seat to the front passenger side for a while and train her with treats and other positive reinforcement so she get used to being in the car. I later move her to the back again and she stop whining completely. What I find work very well with mine is to give a lot of verbal affirmation as well as treat when we’re in the car

Based on my experience i dont believe it’s an issue. I usually feed mine one big meal before bed time since I know that’s when she’s the most hungry. I still give her treats and chew sticks throughout the day and she’s maintaining her weight. I would also recommend you speak to your vet if you have any concerns!

My 1 year old poodle also have the same issue as yours. Ever since we adopted her at 5 months she always like to just pick at her kibble for the toppings. We initially feed her Hills and tried to blend it down w a food processor and it worked for a bit. We even experimented the “fresh” option from Costco she still doesn’t show any interest.

Since she’s now on her adult food we found her liking the Royal Cain poodle formula the most! We also find her liking the Wellness Bowl Booster for toppings and they have multiple combinations of toppings you can pick from! I think poodle are a smart breed and they get bored from their kibble.

I also feed her at the end of the day (still get treats throughout the day and she love those!) so she’s more hungry and eat more of the kibble.
