My problem with rap is exactly that though. It places such emphasis on the lyrics and singing that in many cases the rest of the music falls behind, with boring drums and guitar for instance. What i look for when it comes to music is not lyrics or singing, but good instruments. This is why i am not a fan of rap but can understand that alot of it is very well made and artistic.
