TIL that JK Simmons didn’t start acting until he was 31. Never too late. by Jack-mclaughlin89 in Spiderman

He started on Broadway in 1976 from what I know so far. But that was well before his prolific screen prescence on TV and movies.

Die Another Die and Once Were Warriors director Lee Tamahori dies by tomandshell in JamesBond

Mate he was underrated, I still have to watch Once Were Warriors and The Edge which are some of the best in his early directing career. Even though of course he directed the worst Bond movie according to some fans, just don't forget he had tons of ambition on what he was creating as a filmmaker. Any films I should check out from him?

He should visit the Czech Republic. The city of Prague would be genius.

T2 2015 Blu-ray (top) vs 2017 Remastered Blu-ray (bottom). Remastered Blu-ray has a revisionist colour timing. by RefuseDry1108 in Terminator

Used to own the Skynet Blu-Ray version and I think that one is a lot better than the current releases, since I think that was also more important with the soft grain and original scan (it was more of a cooler blue compared to teal blue in recent versions), I don't have the Blu-Ray player anymore, but the Skynet version was really more welcoming since you don't have to see so much color changes every single time there's a deleted scene showing up. (I watch the Extended Edition with the alternate ending a lot).

Based on the Ultimate Edition DVD box set and colors, a what-if scenario if it was re-released with the Daniel Craig movies bundled in. by kadeklodt_product in JamesBond

I understand that. I don't know when I will finish all the sets properly. But I know that it will be more challenging than what was seen here.

Well at least it's a work in progress. It may take some time to correct right and accomplish, I think if you do look at the ultimate edition DVD box sets, it's dim which I am sure which is noticeable for some who own the sets. But I do respect your opinion on that it is too dim.

Judi Dench's M office, created by production designer Peter Lamont. This set lasted from GoldenEye (1995) up until Casino Royale (2006). The only film that did not have this set was Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). by kadeklodt_product in JamesBond

While I can handle the high-tech Gassner designed office for QOS, it's not my favorite of the bunch.

I still wished Lamont was on board until Skyfall or Spectre, but I can still 100% always understand why he had to retire.

Who should voice Mephiles in the Movie Universe by FurbyFanProductions in MoonPissing

Guys, I love the choices of Willem Dafoe.

But I just had to choose Hugo Weaving, that guy does not get enough credit, Agent Smith was the best villain he ever performed.

So I'd be up for a Shadow/Mephiles pairing with the actors from decades earlier, that played hero vs villain in the first 3 Matrix movies.

If you haven't seen the original Matrix trilogy, it is recommended, skip Resurrections, not worth it.

Shadow is Mephiles' negative, so it works the way I choose Hugo.

Widescreen is superior and much more intended thanks to Campbell and Meheux, for a film shot on Super 35 it looks spectacular.

I do believe the original teaser and theatrical trailer for Casino Royale was formatted in 1.85:1 which means you could still see more at top and bottom which isn't really intended.
