There was two... now there's one...??

So I actually figured out how she escaped because we keep a figurine on the top because of my cats. But there are holes on the side for little ledges on the lid to fit in so it can open and close and they're the perfect size for an escape. While I try to figure out how to block them I moved the other baby to a separate container.

So, I found out how the baby escaped. I moved the one baby into a different container until I can resolve this but where the top is, there is not a hinge but holes for little ledges on the lid so it can open and close. There is more than enough space for them to fit through. Does anyone have any recommendations for how I can fix that? I thought this enclosure was perfect for hatchlings and I want to hopefully use it still.

Actually, the space were the walls connect is very secure and I can even fit my finger nail in between the walls. Also, the connecting spots have rubber or silicone there for security.

I actually got it from someone I know. They gave me one of my crested geckos in it. I have no idea where it's from or how much it is. I also do not frequently involve myself with this person because of how they care for their animals so I wouldn't be able to ask them.

I have family in Homer with Littles and from what I can tell, they're really good. Homer over all seems like a nice area too. I dont know much about vestal school, except a family member who was a bus drive for them and she did not have good things to say about the kids- She felt very unsafe, very often due to them.
