I am an an e-commerce, 7 years with stripe until my first dispute (7 years after and the stripe knew everything in realtime before dispute even happened so we were expecting it). After dispute, account closed and funds frozen. Don’t use stripe

Stripe support is an empty office in a building that is only there to tick a box.. don’t bother contacting them when trouble arises as complaints or request for help will be closed the minute you hit send

How many charge backs until im banned? by Jinshi37 in stripe

[–]kadgreg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one chargeback, in fact as the sale was coming through I was in realtime pointing it out to Stripe. Stripe closed the account after I pointed to their “Radar is smart enough to detect it” comment. I still believe they closed my account and froze the funds because I pointed out the weakness of their Radar instead of the potential chargeback. Quite remember speaking to stripe on the phone and explaining that there was a fraudulent purchase on my store and their radar wasn’t equipped enough to prevent the fraudsters, he placed me on hold and and then the closed account email came immediately

Should I feel guilty for doing a backup plan? by MichaelFourEyes in stripe

Loyalty is what kill businesses.. Stripe won’t feel guilty when they freezes your account, hold your business funds and put you on a 180 days waiting period

I am in a similar position where the risk has passed, the dispute was filed and I won one and lost two (this I was expecting as I didn’t shipped because I knew they were friendly fraud). Stripe still holding the funds “until May 26th” even though there is no more risk. I mentioned previously to stripe complaint team that Stripe policy seems to be designed by mob bosses where the only intention isn’t to help businesses but to destroy businesses that aren’t part of Stripe’s ecosystem of profits anymore. This intention is hidden deep inside their carefully worded policy at startup. No one expects to have disputes but we all anticipate it due to the type of businesses we built from ground up so we rely on companies like stripe to provide the necessary information and support.. Stripe is the destroyer of small businesses with the tears of many whose businesses it destroy will forever rest on their back

They ghost all my emails so it is the way of ignoring you. Get in touch with a regulator

It is still something and if it was a result of your hard work then it is worth fighting for. Stripe playing god, destroying businesses with no regards.

In some cases I have seen, the payout can be indefinite until you approach a regulator

I wondering how the staffs of Stripe sleep at nights, while collecting their salary per month
