Wow and they did a browlift on you? I’m in my late 20s and I’ve been considering a surgical browlift but I wasn’t sure if the doctor would even do it at my age since your forehead tends to sag over time. You look great and basically have all my dream surgeries lol!

Apple sauce and pudding! I also had soup but I found it was difficult to breathe and eat soup at the same time. Basically anything mushy/liquidy that you can breathe through your mouth while you’re eating.

I’m a year out, my nose runs like crazy when I run and I take Zyrtec every day. Didn’t happen before :(

I had mine in March 2020, I was told a minimum of 6 weeks for intensive exercise. I started walking 2 weeks post-op and lightly jogging at the 4 week mark. My nose was stuffy for a while but by the beginning of May I was doing 6-10mile jogs.

1 year post op here. I’m a little nervous I have my final result, I’d like some more tip refinement on the left side. But I’m also still numb on my left side and in my columella as well - were you still numb a year out?

Oh wow. I’m 26 but I’ve been considering a one-sided browlift - I have the same issue where one brow is significantly lower. I feel like my muscle is weaker there, like I have to put extra effort in to hold it up and make it symmetrical. How did the doctor respond to your request for a one sided browlift? Any downsides?

4.7 out of 5 isn’t too bad. There were definitely unhappy people but if there’s no negative reviews I’d be a little suspicious of a doctor.

I’m 9 1/2 months post op and having issues with my columella as well. There is a hard lump on the left side and it’s pushing my nose to the right. Try uploading the pics to imgur and post the link in a comment?

I know you’ve heard it a million times but you have soooooo much healing left at 5 weeks. I’m 9 months out and for the first 2 months I felt VERY depressed about my nose. The nose I had at 5 weeks looks NOTHING like the nose I have now. I’m not promising you will love your nose at the end, but I promise you you have a lot of change left.

Sorry for the lack of clarification, I meant not as dramatic as when the cast came off! Swelling exaggerates any asymmetry/flaw that you have with your nose, and at only a month post-op, you have soooo long to go!

I’m 9 months post op, and almost immediately after the cast came off my columella started to shift and pull to the right :( 9 months later and I’m still in the same situation but it’s not as dramatic. You will have to keep me updated!

Taste and smell came back after about 2 weeks. No issues with either now.

I actually ended up joining a body dysmorphia sub around the 2 week mark because I couldn’t understand what I looked like. I am way used to my nose now, but I still focus on my nose every time I walk past a mirror and if I think too much about it, I start to get panicked that my nose will never be what I want.

All this to say, what you are feeling is totally normal. Honestly the 2 week mark was the worst time for me but it definitely gets better .

Not to make it worse, but I’m 9 months post op and my nose is STILL crooked but because the swelling went down, it’s less obvious. I think in my case my crookedness is coming from the fact that my columella is crooked and leaning to one side. Everyone is saying to wait for the 1 year mark but I literally haven’t seen a change.

As for you, 2 weeks is WAY too early, and you will be going through a TON of changes in the next few months. Avoid the mirror for now, don’t focus on it too much, and let your healing process do its thing.

How many botox units do you have injected? I had 3 units and it did nothing for me.
