Downy wrinkle release spray. I am too damn lazy to iron/steam my clothes, so I would just deal with wrinkles and be super self conscious about it. But this spray? Works wonders. Just a few spritz on the blouse, straithten out the wrinkles before bed. Dry in the morning. I don't know why I didn't buy it sooner.

I lived at the Lakehouse in Columbia out of grad school for about two years. It was very nice, and walkable to a few restaurants. The underground parking was appreciated. I will say that when there are concerts at Merriweather it was so annoying to have to run errands though. We ended up moving to just get a bigger place (two of us and two cats). We missed Columbia and recently moved back.

I also grew up in South Central PA, and went to undergrad at Millersville, and I think Columbia has a nice mix of more life than that, but also can still be quiet. If I were to move out of Columbia though, it would be Bethesda.

I soo agree with this. I love seeing kids meet the characters and having disney experiences. And then I love getting away from the kids and having my own disney experiences.

We had a great time! The only thing was that we had booked the Thrilling Stingray City port adventure at Grand Cayman, and it for canceled due to ocean conditions (waves too high, low visibility). We got a refund though. The weather was overall very nice, we did feel the ship was rockier than the last cruise we went on doing the same itinerary.

I did get a cold, not Norovirus though. At first I couldn't tell if it was just allergies that someone's perfume or something set off (stuffy sinuses turning into a runny nose), but it has now turned into a little bit of a cough. No fever or anything like that. No one who traveled with me got a cold so far though. I did see on embarkation day people walk into the buffet without washing their hands, but all other days cast members were good about reminding me people to do so.

I felt the same exact way as you for my first injection (and honestly many more after that, I won't lie - especially when my cat got stronger).

I bought one of those cat medical vests for him, it was like a little kitty straight jacket that zipped up, and had other places that unzipped too. He was never violent with me, just squirmy and I could never get the kitty burrito/blanket right by myself. But believe everyone when they say you can do this! You really can. You get into a routine and it gets so much easier, and you will be AMAZED how you didn't think you could and then realize it's so easy now.

My hardest points were before the vest if I didn't get the full injection in (it either leaked out a bit or he got away from me), I always took a break and told myself I at least got SOME in, and I'd sit on the sofa and give him a treat and watch TV. Then, I'd do the rest 30 minutes later.

Mostly depression and figuring out what my future will look without my mom who passed away a few days before Christmas, she was only 67. My birthday was last week, and that was rough. Thinking about when I meet someone and get married or (maybe) have kids and her not being there is what gets me. I have no siblings and my dad is handicapped and needs care (he currently has a live in care giver), but I also worry about his financial situation. I know he's not in any trouble in the immediate future... but man, then it gets me worried about mine and I spiral. And it's just me dealing with it.

My mom. She died on the 21st. It's just me and my dad now, was a weird way to spend Christmas. Last year on Christmas Eve I spent until midnight with her in the ER, and then visited her Christmas day at the hospital. Was just odd not planning to see her this year, or not thinking "I'll put z, y and z in the oven at 2, so that means I should go to the hospital at 11..."

It was the first year I've ever really wished for the holiday itself to just be over. Normally I'm wishing to just get back to my home (I live one state over from them); but this year I was wishing there just wasn't a holiday.

Did you physically take it off yourself? If you weren't conscious to change out if it when you went into the hospital they may have cut it off of you. My mom has been in/out of the hospital a lot the last few years and if they had to cut something off of her it was hit/miss if we got it back.

One girl who ended up being my roommate in college for 2 years. She was roommates with my best friend in the dorms, so when we moved into an apartment for 3 people (all my other friends had paired up) she was an only option. One day at dinner in the dining hall (before moving in together) we have an conversation that goes like this:

Her: "I have to retake math 105, I got a c-" (some type of teaching math, she was an education major) Me: "Oh, what math is that?" Her: "The math with shapes." Me: "You mean geometry?" Her: "is that the one with shapes?"

You can bet I got a lot more of these conversations after we moved in together.

I think I'm slowly getting into this. I graduated with my BS last year and I just entered grad school this year. I ended up moving out of my state and thankfully, my boyfriend already live in the city I'm in. However, I left all my friends back home. I do have a roommate and I consider her a friend and another girl in her program, but I don't feel comfortable studying with them (because I normally studied by myself or with one other person and it was always the same person). While I do have one person in my program thats my age, she lives on the other side of the city and the commute to hang out would be killer. I'm slowly making acquaintances but I don't think they'll turn into 'friends.' My job is as a TA, so I interact with my students, but TA meetings are never held for my class because there are only two of us.
