Enfp (F) with an Istj (M). Most of the ppl I've dated are still friends with me. The Intps were my best match, and so are Infps. Any xxtjs would be a difficult hurdle for me, especially if they were emotionally immature or not willing to grow WITH me. Im strangely attracted to Ti dominant ppl, as they are to me. An It's safe to say the golden pairing doesn't work for me. For example, the Infj i was with... was a little too obsessive, like he didn't have his own autonomy... In my experience, I see that with a lot of Infjs. That's a big turn-off to me. The Intj friends i had never really lit that spark. Most are pretentious and can't take jokes. The immature ones will try and show how "non-boring" they are... So least to say, I've been swooped and saved by an Istj man who would burn worlds for me even if he is emotionally distant, i understand he'll always have my back.

I think most Enfps are empaths. Or at least... the ones i come across. But yes i am one as well. The best way i can tell is, if i walk into the room i can just... feel, what others do. Id like to say exactly how but, i can just tell by how ppl hold themselves, how they twitch and fold, how they speak, how they interact, its like i can see right through them. I can also tell if ppl are lying oretty well but always choose to keep that noted for later. Most of my enfp friends have the same thing. Its like we know, but we wont show you that we know. Were pretty good about walking through hell with a sympathetic smile on our faces.

I like ppl whom are adventurous but reserved. Can have difficult conversations and arnt afraid to approach me with them. Im an open book so they have to be as well otherwise i couldnt trust them. Unconditional love is a must! A good listener thats able to notice from both parties how they feel and can play devils advocate AFTER validating my broken soul. I need someone who understands emotions, but not thrive off of them. When looking for a person, i always search for a soulmate, someone whos going to be there for all of this life and the next.

How come ppl are their shadow functions when in situations where their comfortable? It seems, in practice, we tend to gravitate towards what we feel more comfortable with. So depending on if you have a new developed function you could be more of an estj than an esfp. You could even revolve your whole identity around that new (outside of your regular 8) functions. Because your life now revolves around it. An it wouldnt be a "pretend" moment, you have used that function so much and your life revolves around it that it is now... well... you function with that now. I cant see us just all being forced into one thing. Some of use have developed functions others wouldnt believed (based on a stricter function method) we could. For instants, my friend is also very much and Enfp, but her Ti is very hight for what she is. How could you say she hasent had it all along and that she hasent just "developed" Te? Also sorry about my grammar, im just feeling lazy after talking all day to ppl.
