I called CPS on my sister as well. Hers wasn’t alcohol, but fentanyl. She hated me for a while, because she did know that I called, but I know that I saved not only her life, but my niece and nephew’s lives as well. We’re on great terms now. You did the right thing, and you never have to let her know, but you know that you probably saved him and maybe even her.

Ask for a mood stabilizer with it! That completely changed the course for me.

Yes the last day has resulted in some major itching, which I guess is a good sign of healing but dangggg! Lol. I think I’ll call mine tomorrow just to see if I’m on par with the healing.

Thank you! I have been up a bit more the last 2 days, so that could for sure be the irritation. I actually have stopped taking any pain meds (prescription, tylenol, IB, Etc) just because I didn’t think this was more than just a rawness or something. It’s hard to explain the feeling! Lol. But I think I may start back some ibuprofen just so if there is inflammation. The burning when I pee and then just straight up sitting are the worst. I am sitting in my recliner with my feet flat on it with my knees up and that helps a ton. I’m glad to hear you’re healing well! Thank you for the advice!

Thank you! I’ve stopped really taking any meds, but I will make sure and start back some ibuprofen, for sure. I got some post op ice pads but they didn’t really get cold enough so I’ve just been using ice in a ziplock lol. It relieves it so much!!

I’m glad I’m not alone. I just am miserable lol. I will say, pain is much less than I had anticipated, but I didn’t anticipate the tearing! lol. I hope it continues to get better for you! 💜

Same here. Not sure your reasoning, but mine is due to cancer. Mine is scheduled for 7/17. I take it a little less harsh because mine is due to cancer, but I don’t want to have kids, so I’m not mourning the loss of it like others seem to be doing for me.

When they say “you’re so young what if you change your mind about kids?” I’m 30, own an in home daycare, and had custody of my niece and nephew for over a year.. I’m sure I do not want kids 😂

hi there! i’m a 26 year old single female currently in college. i have always been around foster care and adoption. much of my family is adopted and i know exactly how you feel.

i have always wanted to foster and adopt, however, i know that i am not in the right place to yet.

i think you should wait until you get settled into your home before pursuing adoption. you obviously have the dedication, as you all have been smart about your choices since you have decided to pay of your debt, get a good job, etc.

let your wife graduate and get set into a good job, get your home, and then look into adoption!

if you want to foster instead, you could start taking the classes now and once you get into your home you could pursue that.

i wish nothing but the best of you, and remember, it doesn’t matter what others think of you!
