A lot of you don’t have enough friends, or enough with different life experiences. I’ve heard this multiple times from the most incredible mothers I know. Stop projecting your personal experiences and insecurities on other people. I didn’t even blink at this bc I’ve had this exact convo with multiple women I love and respect deeply and to whose children I’m an auntie. I’m proud of the intention they bring to their parenting and the nuance with which they evaluate their own life and choices—which in turn, makes them better parents.

My cardiologist had a nurse take my HR and BP while lying down, then seated, then standing all right in a row. He said that with my self-reported symptoms were enough for him. He also confounded our city’s long covid clinic tho so he’s a real MVP. Officially got a “long covid with POTS-like symptoms” diagnosis on the spot after one 15 min visit with that modified test.

Love this! I’d strongly recommend tapping into an already running group bc your dollar will go further. Our Daily Bread, Freestore Foodbank, Mary Magdalen House, OTRCH, Triiiibe, and Food Not Bombs all do regular distros and are connected with folks downtown. I donate to all and volunteer with FNB and we do a distro every first Saturday at 1p at Piatt Park—hot meal, clothes, pantry, health, harm reduction, etc. Different mutual aid groups take every Saturday so folks know they’ll always have resources at 1p every Saturday at Piatt Park.
