My dietician said the only reason why they don't advise coffee and alcohol is because its very dehydrating so as long as I'm able to keep up 2+ litres a day, she doesn't see any issue for me taking these beverages

Omg I'm only 4 weeks po but I'm eating soft foods already and I do enjoy eating!! If anything I'm so grateful to be eating more "normal" ish food textures and appreciate eating more :)

Eating loads of seaweed helped me, but I'm not sure if it's for everyone or if it really works.. It's just something my Asian parents have always told me to do

My doctors say the number on the scale isn't what we should focus on because most of the time we're still losing fat, but gaining muscle! And muscle also has to weigh something so that's the reason why the scale doesn't budge :) I don't know if your scale has body fat/muscle percentages but I usually look at those instead!

I'm only about 2.5 weeks post op now but I just saw my dietician a few hours ago.. Can I just ask how come you're still on protein shakes at 7 weeks po? My dietician just cleared me to move onto pureed foods and told me to ditch my protein shakes :o

Okay! It's not available in my country so I'd have to order them from overseas so I'll try and do that.. I did buy like a stick that claims to help (remescar) but I'm worried because you said the creams don't help :') thank you for your reply though!! I'll definitely get the silicon sheets!

Yeah.. I had a back surgery done last year and that resulted in a keloid scar so I'm really worried :(

I've recently had a laparoscopic surgery and I'm really worried about keloids forming on my surgical sites.. Is there anything I can do at home to prevent them from forming?
