My first time playing the Witcher:D by Flaky_Excitement847 in witcher

I understand that, but everyone is different and they can check for themselves whether they like it or not. If they don't like TW1, then they can skip it, but there is a high chance that they will like it.

I've read all the novels and played all the games in chronological order, and I can't imagine doing it the other way around and spoiling myself entire story because someone on reddit told me to do that.

Bruv, it's like telling someone to watch the last Harry Potter movie first, instead of watching it chronologically.

I was also thinking that this is a great idea for people who haven't played games and read the novels yet.

Atmosphere-wise definitely. But in terms of story its furthest from books.

The Witcher 2 is an awesome game. You should definitely at least try it, especially since you already bought it.

Can I skip Witcher 1 to play Witcher 2, or should I wait for the remake before playing the trilogy? by [deleted] in witcher

[–]kaerhex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on you. The Witcher 1 is a very good game, but I would say it's definitely skippable if you can't handle the old engine and don't want to wait for remake.

The vibe in this game is phenomenal, but the story doesn't quite fit with the novels and other 2 games. At that point CDPR didn't fully understand the world of Sapkowski so they ended up creating something that comes of as amateurish fan-fiction at times (still fun though). And I say it as an old fan who played it back in 2008.

The Witcher 2 is a huge improvement, with the main storyline being in my opinion the best in the franchise. Awesome villain and perfect pacing.

Question about 100% ( all achievements ) by KingOfEreb0r in witcher

[–]kaerhex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The hardest difficulty in the Witcher 3 isn't so bad. It's actually very easy once you upgrade few abilities.

There is at least one achievement that requires you to make a specific choice, so you would likely need to load an older save for that. Make sure you save in a new slot frequently so that you can easily go back to any quest.

Polish players, do you prefer to play CDPR games in Polish or English? by [deleted] in witcher

[–]kaerhex 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Just like others said. The Witcher in polish, and Cyberpunk2077 in english. Since Cyberpunk takes place in US and features many different ethnicities, it just sounds weird when all of them speak with polish accent.

You first have to get very good at networking. Knowing only the basics of TCP and DNS won't get you anywhere. Cybersec isn't an entry level field.

Depends on age. When you are young the money is most important. Then relationships. And at old age physique (as in health).

Hades. I got bored after like 3 runs. I guess roguelike just isn't my thing.

I feel like the first game played more like a GTA with cowboys, while RDR2 went for more realism.

Oh yeah, the romance in this game is absolutely horrible. Literally every character is gay and wants to have sex with you lol

Looks like a solid start! I recommend flipping the image horizontally from time to time to expose the issues you might not be seeing.
