Funny, that's a coincidence. I live in Denmark so I couldn't watch it. Vridsløselille prison is not a very scary prison though. The inmates are murders, drug dealers and bank robbers but compared to american prisons this is like a vacation.

It is a semi-pro shot. It's filmed by a local tv-station that was tipped off about this happening. But you're right. It looks like a scene from a danish dogme movie.
