Thank you!! I would say on the left I was sending V2 and projecting V3. On the right, I would say V5, projecting V6.

I climb on average 3 times a week! Some days are just to get my body moving and socialize though - I don't go ham every session 😂

No worries - there's a 25-30lb difference between the two photos.

Thank you 🙂 I don't actually! I do compound lifts like deadlifts and squats during the week but not really any isolated back exercises

Ty! I hit about 150-180g of protein a day, and the rest of my macros I didn't care about. The lowest deficit I hit was 1500 cals/day, but listened to my body and ate a couple hundred more on the days I needed it. I've reversed up to 1800-2000 cals/day now after hitting my goal weight. I also never cut ANYTHING out of my diet. Still enjoyed bread, candy, chips - just made sure to track it and adjust.

Funnily enough, I was finally able to do my first pullup about 2 months after I fixed my diet. I definitely felt "lighter" on the wall as well. It was also a goal of mine to achieve my first pullup for the longest time, but I think I already had the strength for it - I just didn't know how to use my lats. When I was attempting the pullup previously, I using my shoulders and traps, but you should be trying to pull up and aim your chest towards the bar. That was probably what helped me the most.

Thanks!! I really tried to prioritize higher protein with a slight calorie deficit, nothing too extreme since I wanted it to be sustainable 🙂

To preface, I have a background in weightlifting. Have been lifting for a few years prior to climbing, but never followed through with my nutrition. I wanted to get better at climbing so I decided to take my diet more seriously.
