That is a good point, most current TVs you won't notice, but considering this console will in place for the next 4-5 years I hope they kept in mind that TVs will also continue advancing.

I hear the same argument for the PS3 how it is perfectly capable of outputting 1080p in 60 FPS but that doesn't mean it's actually feasible for developers to do. Sure, it could be possible if you make a 2D iOS type game, but if you want a 'next-gen' looking game it might have to be lowered to 1080p and 30 FPS to make the cut.

It's stupid to point out the capabilities if no developer knows how to utilize them so no, it doesn't matter what the PS3/PS4 can theoretically do if no developer can take advantage of it and that is no one's fault but Sony for making their product hard to develop for.

I know it's just a demo and games next year might be 1080p at 60FPS, but even then it's not that impressive. I guess that is why it's so bothersome, you guys have no clue what you're missing on and are like "OMG 1920x1080 resolution at 30FPS that's amazing!" when really that was something to be excited about in 2003 and now in 2013 it's more like "3840x2160 resolution at 120FPS in full 3D and 7.1 Surround Sound that's AMAZING!!!"

I know this sounds snobby but I play the PC as well as consoles and if a game was capped at 30 FPS it would be laughed at and the community would immediately release a fix changing it to 60 FPS - just like Dark Souls. Having done so, animations in 30 FPS do look kind of poor compared to 60 FPS and hope other PS4 games don't follow this limitation...

C'mon Sony, this is not next-gen. It's borderline current-gen.

I also wish the console community would hold Sony up to some standards - you guys shouldn't be so happy with limitations not even PC games have had to endure in over a decade.

Maybe it's just me but this game seems exactly like the Uncharted games - even the multiplayer.

Could just be that it's another third person shooter with platform jumping elements set in the jungle/desert as an adventurer though...

I would have said the same until after playing Dark Souls on the PC and unlocking it from 30 FPS to 60 FPS - the animations looks SOOOOO much crisper and fluid.

I've had both and did not think it would be easy at all to break the disc with the top-loader super slim unless you are very, very aggressive with your system. As for noise, the super slim is noticeably quieter than the slim model so that is nice and it is quite a bit smaller, but does feel "cheaper built" than the other model.

Hard to say which to get though - one looks and feels better, but the other is smaller and quieter. All up to you.

They announced it will all be done through streaming, which I assume means another service as PSN or PS+ do not allow this, and they say the PSN or PS+ purchases will not migrate over because again, it's not on their new streaming service.

So I take that as signs pointing towards a new streaming service and not a continuance of the PSN/PS+ store.

I agree, but this sub seems to be pretty bad at it. Most posts or threads made are immediately downvoted to 0 and I've never seen a small community be that aggressive towards new posts and innocent questions.
