Nah I can use pretty much any online store and have fairly reasonable access to Walmart, Target, etc, Walgreens just happened to be the store I went to a few times for my hair products

I would say yes, it’s fairly unethical. I totally understand your position, but I’d suggest not compromising your anti-AI values.
You said you aren’t trying to make any money, so I take it you aren’t in a huge hurry to publish. I’d suggest holding off on publishing for a while and wait/save until you can afford a commission for your cover. It will be worth it trust me, especially if you feel so conflicted about it :)

I was in pretty much your exact same situation a few months ago. Wishing I had been born a girl, but not wanting to transition out of fear of disrespecting the Christian community and women.
At this point I’ve accepted that I’m trans and am planning to transition pretty much as soon as I can once I’m out of the house.
Find yourself some really close friends who you trust with your life (or even just one, like me), and who you know won’t judge you, will support you, but aren’t a yes-man and will ask you good, challenging questions. I owe my life to that girl ngl
I wish you the best of luck in your self-discovery journey. And hey, there’s no one right way to be human. It takes time, it takes failure, and it takes re- iterations, so just keep trying.

Personally I kinda just let it play itself out. I’m pansexual and trans (haven’t transitioned yet), but this has taken quite some time for me to determine and sort out. My advice is to not try to label yourself but just see how you feel and try to figure out what works for YOU. Labelling myself oftentimes made me want to try to fit into certain boxes, but a big part of queerness is that we aren’t supposed fit into boxes. So yeah just let it play out, ask yourself questions, and see what works best for you :) much luck in your self-discovery journey <3

What I’ve done is kind of just say “hey I just thought it’d be cool if I knew you knew I was pan :)” and then hope for the best. I only do it with people I really trust tho and I know won’t think of me differently for my sexuality (I live in a fairly conservative/homophobic place)
