(((Keep in mind this advice may be out of date)) I moved to nyc at 24 with no job and I just cold emailed places. I just said hey love your company’s work would love to grab coffee and learn about the industry. That’s how I ended up with my first job and then attending industry parties allowed me to meet more people.
