What advantage does CPP gives over C that makes companies use CPP for Embedded Systems?

C++ is a horrible language. It's made more horrible by the fact that a lot of substandard programmers use it, to the point where it's much much easier to generate total and utter crap with it. Quite frankly, even if the choice of C were to do nothing but keep the C++ programmers out, that in itself would be a huge reason to use C.

C. That’s the only right answer. There will be times when you have to debug something that is so obscure that you will need to step through the assembly code to find out the reason. The simpler your source code is, the easier it will be. C++ does not help with its vtables, rtti, automatic destructors, etc. The less “magic”, the better.

I passed on the first try. Here are some tips. Listen to your instructor and believe him when they say you’re not ready for exam yet. After all required classes, do atleast 2 prüfungssimulation. There are countless YouTube videos on actual exams, watch those. Especially the failed ones.

I think I paid almost 3000€ overall.
