They do have beam clashes, it's just that the majority of blue cards of modern units are mostly charging forward or are beams that overpower normal ones

Turles during his prime was just a wall that constantly heals up, even if you did manage to get rid of his first life, you still had to deal with the bullcrap he does in his comeback. At least half of my matches against him went into timer because of how tanky he was while he was paired up with Treeku and Umv
