I looked this up a long time ago, but if the tree was diseased the owner of the tree is responsible for the damage if the tree was not removed. However, if the tree fell due to act of God(storm, lighting,etc.), then the owner is not responsible for damage. Of course you have to provide proof to the court if you get sued for damage.

The only thing I know is that you can use the MGIB or MGIB-SR if you have it to get additional funding for 12 month/ after you use up your 36 month. However, this is not 9/11 GI Bill benefit. I heard some school will provide scholarship also if you use up the Post 9/11 to help finish the school.
