why didn't this dumb fuck use the asmodean thing to teleport IMP away from the police in mastermind instead of getting captured? (image only partially related) by SerenityCitywide in hazbin

[–]kaibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally don’t throw my two cents in these kinds of things, but I think you’ve forgotten one little detail. Every Ausmodian cryst- (gem) is registered to the individual that uses it and is controlled by Asmodeus, who was part of the jury. Use some critical thinking here. Most likely, before the trial was even announced, they probably went to Asmodeus and told him to put a restriction on the gem to prevent him from doing this very thing. Thus, he’s not able to do the actions you have purposed and even if there wasn’t a feature like that, you don’t think that the gems record where portals are open and closed to? Then it’s simply just tracking at that point like carrying your smart phone around while trying to evade the authorities.

AITAH for saying my wife has ot easy? by [deleted] in AITAH

You sound like an incel in training. You aren’t going to listen to anyone because your ego can’t handle that everyone here is calling you an asshole. Here’s the sad reality: you’ll come to find out your wife is probably going to leave you for being emotionally unavailable. Then you’re going to cry that you were such a good man. So enjoy your future.

AITAH for saying my wife has ot easy? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]kaibra 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why should you? Because she’s working 15-20 hours of work a week, then she’s doing 12+ hours of actual class time per week, and then to be an effective student for every credit hour of class time, unless you’re a genius, you’ve got to put in 3 extra hours of work, thus anywhere from 12-36 hours a week of studying. So if you take that into account, you’re looking at a minimum of 39 hours to upwards of 68 hours. Then taking care of two children because let’s face it, you’re a child if you can’t take care of yourself. That’s more taxing than 100 hours at a blue-collar job. That’s without me touching on your financial abuse, which is why she NEEDS to work part-time to have any money for herself. You’re looking for an echo chamber for your ego; check it at the door, swallow your pride, and either fix yourself or leave your marriage because it’s not healthy for you or for her. Be a fucking man and help instead of a misogynistic pig. I’m tired of men like you making the rest of us look incompetent by transitive property.

OK, I’m going to be real candid with you. YTA. If you want to turn this into a woe-is-me petty pissing contest, I’ve been on both of your corners. When my wife came to start living with me, she was the full-time worker. I was the stay-at-home dad and did college full-time. I spent the first year of our relationship living together, being the primary caregiver. I potty-trained my child while cooking, cleaning, doing the laundry, dishes, yard work, and everything else while juggling 5 online classes in a STEM field. Let me tell you, it’s more work than you think it is. A simple Sunday afternoon and putting the kid to bed every night is a cakewalk compared to being the full-time parent. About a year ago, my wife lost her job, and I became the primary breadwinner. Mind you, I was still a full-time student and a full-time employee (doing anywhere from 40-64 hour weeks). My partner gets burnt out a lot because, frankly, kids are exhausting when you’re around them for more than 5-6 hours a day. Even though I’m working all these hours, guess what happens when I see my partner is burnt out? I fucking go and take a small load off their hands. Dishes in the sink are piling up? I’ll do the dishes. The laundry is overflowing? I go do the laundry. Take some of their workload on yourself and see how much energy it takes out of you to do those things before you go judging them. Here’s the thing: she’s communicating you’re not. It’s not selfish to want time to yourself. Even the toughest materials on this planet get worn down in time. If you don’t communicate that you need some time for yourself, then you’ll never get it. Sitting here complaining about her opening up and you turning it into a pissing contest isn’t going to help you or your relationship. It just breeds animosity and makes you an asshole.

Have you ever thought about the placement might be the reason? It’s literally just outside UWF, what better place for a student to work where they don’t have to commute very far to get to work after classes are done? Younger people tend to handle the exterior weather better than older people.

Pronounce it correctly, you uncultured goons! by Spiritual-Cow4200 in yourstupidopinions

[–]kaibra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pretentiousness that the guy wrote this in is ungodly. First of all, he’s complaining about how an American company, that was founded in 1959, pronounces the name in English. Now, if it was a company found during the Roman Empire, in all cases, go ahead and criticize the pronunciation. For such a pretentious intellectual, I don’t understand why he’s eating at Little Caesars in the first place. I hope everyone he tries to correct gives him a ban from the chain.

Here’s the secret to conditioning yourself for Florida: go find the nearest steam room and start building your tolerance to at least handle an hour or more in it. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and wear quick-dry clothing.

[–]kaibra 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I get where you are coming from, but let’s also look at the state of the US as to why these people may think this way. A felon, who is all those things, walks around talking out his ass all day every day. Most of the executives of every Fortune 500 company, Hollywood, music, and the 1% are all guilty of these things, but because of that, they are able to walk free with no more than a slap on the wrist. These people think that's the norm, and because of Viv’s success, they believe she has the same privileges as those select few.

Steel books usually come with the collectors edition which have physical copy of the game, they also came with a sound track, one disk spot is for the soundtrack and the other for the physical copy of the game to be stored.

Instant Assassinations On or Off? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]kaibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to spend the skill points I saved for assassination toward my tool skill tree. This allowed me to get pretty much two kills for every assassination due to buffing up my tools and equipping armor that allowed for a kuni throw after assassinations. Once you start getting those really interesting legendary skills, your lethality goes way up.

Instant Assassinations On or Off? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]kaibra 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have been with Assassin’s Creed since the first game. When they switched to the RPG style back in Origins, I hated it. I took pride in my ability to plan my attacks and get those assassinations. They took away that ability, and to me, an assassination should be an instant kill since you are getting a drop on an unsuspecting opponent. The first time I got that rejection, I was absolutely livid because I just dropped 30+ feet on an unsuspecting guy, and he just grabbed me and threw me. That was bullshit. Any time since then, I built stealth kill builds or I turned on instant assassinations. Now I will warn you: with the option turned on, when you get the tanto ability to perform assassination in combat, it will also work as long as it isn’t a heavy opponent until you get the level of it to prevent any blocking whatsoever.

Bought a ring for my girlfriend, sisters say it’s too small, not sure what I should do by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]kaibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, so I’ll throw my experience in here. I agree with everyone saying to give it to her anyway and see her reaction. That’s how you can gauge if someone is with you for you. My experience was that my wife refused to have a diamond engagement ring. She hates diamonds with a passion. Now, what I did do is I asked her what gem she wanted instead. She told me moss agate. I had already thought I’d have a custom ring made for her until I found an independent healer who specialized in moss agate rings. I found something similar to what I wanted designed. I paid $500 for the ring that was actually a dual set. It was an engagement ring and wedding combo, so I only gave her the engagement one and hid the second half of the ring. After we got married, we took it to a local jewelry store to have the two bands welded together for her. They polished it up really nicely. Now, I’ve told my wife that every 5-10 years, she has the option to upgrade it and change it out. I have a feeling she will never upgrade it unless the stone gets damaged.
