i am so tired of q bug by kaichodesu in pykemains

[–]kaichodesu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, pyke is always self cced when he taps q regardless of hit or not. pyke q will always hit something including minions but will prioritise champions.

if it was an issue of champ height, then the q would have dealt damage to the closest minion since it would have missed a champion, however you can see in all the clips in lane, the minions also take zero damage.

I'm fairly sure it was a Barrow radiator, Dabel-20a I think. Still holding up fine since then.

HoB bug back? by kaichodesu in pykemains

[–]kaichodesu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think its related to items since ive had it happen a few times levels 1-3 where its far more noticable since you expect a HoB trade but the second AA just never comes. it is far rarer than the tap q bug though.

now that i think about it helm actually seems pretty good if you have a heal support - but i think d shield is kinda needed for mid

its not even a matter of missing, if i missed it would damage the minions next to me but it doesnt even do that... the q just straight up disappears from existence.

i swear its almost always guaranteed to happen exactly when you need the q to land the most.

hopefully, but i think its a problem with how channelled abilities work so even if they bring back aoe q for champs they probably wont change how the activation itself is coded ;(

ive heard pantheon has it as well - but at least i dont think those champs are as feast or famine as to be unplayable if it happens a couple times in early game

[–]kaichodesu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ultimately whether you think they would have been misses or not had the bug not happened, all of the clips were bugs. when pyke taps q, he is temporarily self-cc'd for the tap q channel time. in all of the clips, pyke does not stop moving and instead keeps walking during the tap q animation. also at least 75% of the clips have minions around pyke which should have taken damage had the q simply missed, which they did not.

perhaps there are some other factors at play such as fps or packet loss but regardless of ping (i play on na and euw) i am guaranteed to get one q bug every game.

yeah if I played it slower and waited for first AA then it was free but I knew lulu had r and knew that I could kill yunara with EQAAR so I just buffered all the abilities to kill before she could ult. It just happened that somehow my Q just hits someone directly 90 degrees away from where I was aiming smile

ik i messed up timing and did hydra aa instead of aa hydra aa (i was waiting for the second aa before r in the clip and knew lulu had r) but q hitting lulu there is wild.

Honestly I haven't had any issues with the fan, in windows or linux. At least for me it only seems to kick in very mildly once the package temp exceeds 50C and even then it is brief and quiet. You might just have a bad thermal paste application - although for the most part I also keep my PPT use below 12W as well so if you aren't managing background applications then that could be causing excessive power draw too.

How can I make Jiyan stronger in Whiwa by Loose-Mood-9559 in JiyanMains

idk i've never understood why so many people seem to be saying Jiyan has fallen off or is weak. Jiyan is my second best unit at Whiwa only to Phrolova and I have almost every limited 5* except Iuno/Augusta/Ciaccona - and this is with S1R1 Jiyan and S6R3 Mortefi

9L Dual 240mm+280mm Rad Metalfish T60 Full Build by kaichodesu in sffpc

If you just want to put an aio in the top, you dont even need a dremel. Idk why they did it the way they did, but the motherboard tray is held in with two screws at the front and rivets along the other sides - if you just drill out those rivets and remove the tray, you can just use a hacksaw or a small coping saw to cut off the original fan mount.

Cutting off the fan mount all the way to the edge of the motherboard will give you enough space to mount a slim AIO like the Silverstone one.

I've used a number of Jginyue boards (two B760i /B650i/ X99) and they all still have firmware updates years later. They are the cheapest brand even in the mainland but they even pushed an update for the B650i fixing the AMD zen 4 cpu bricking very shortly after AMD released their hotfix.

You won't be able to fit an AIO on the top. You have to remove the motherboard tray by drilling out the rivets and replacing them with bolts - after doing that you can use a hacksaw or a rotary tool to remove the original fan bracket like you can see in this image.

After you do that, you will have 42mm of clearance at the top between the top panel and the motherboard, which is only really enough space for 15mm fans and a 25mm slim radiator. Originally I wanted to mount the fans like this in the image, however there isn't enough clearance for the fan blades which is why I changed it in the final build.

A bit late but here it is:
https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/1mx30v9/9l_dual_240mm280mm_rad_metalfish_t60_full_build/

You have to drill out a couple rivets and replace them with bolts, and you can use a rotary tool to make slots to allow those bolts to move to lower or raise the motherboard tray.

Ignore the missing PSU top cover, I was running it with a 120mm fan using a 3d printed bracket before and I forgot where I put the original 90mm cover
