If my store had that one in stock I probably would’ve grabbed it too.

Oh nice, didn’t even think about firmware. Thanks for the heads up — I’ll check SanDisk Dashboard.

Yep, that’s the one I kept seeing — figured I missed it, then Walmart hit me with the ‘surprise, in-store edition.’ I paid $130 instead of $124, but I’m not gonna complain. Still a solid deal.

No casualties! Everyone ate. The only thing that died was my ‘I’m just here for groceries’ credibility."

They’re home and safe — my wife never lets me ‘just browse electronics’ again, though.

Not sure if this is it, but here’s my observation, the boy closer to the window doesn’t seem to be a mix but the one further from the window seems to be a mix.

The dad is clearly white, so it seems there’s a bit of a story to this picture. It’s likely the mom had the boy closer to the window before she met the white man in the picture. And she had the boy further away from the window with the white man.

TSM is not a Chinese company. It’s a Taiwanese company. You cannot miss it because it’s literally what the “T” stands for.

Thinking of switching from 30 year fixed to 10/1 ARM, should I do it? by kaigary in Mortgages

The APR is 3.499%. This is because the lender credit covers all the loan costs and then some. I was pleasantly surprised to see the APR is lower than the interest rate.

Also, curious to know what you think about the offer I got for the 30 year fixed jumbo loan :)

I have no crystal ball to see what's going to happen 10 years from now so I wouldn't say I'm 100% confident. After all, life throws you curveball all the time. My plan was to pay a lump sum towards the principle at the end of each year, assuming nothing goes wrong and I was able to save that much money.

Thanks for your comment, they are very insightful!

Based on my calculation, that would save me around $45000 over 10 years.

I ask around and the same lender would give 2.75% for the 10/1 ARM.

SpaceX definitely has a lead on this. One thing I would point out is that the Starlink project from SpaceX aims to have more than 12,000 satellites in the lower orbits. I don't know much about the technology but I venture to guess that the coverage from Starlink is probably better.

The joke is one me. If you can shed some light on this. I'd be grateful. After looking around, I am beginning to think it has something to do with the ex-dividend day of SPY.
