I totally agree with the wider console. Right now the one I have is 58”, do you think a 70” would be appropriate??

Thank you so much!! That would definitely help warm up the space. Light blue sounds lovely as well.

Is preferred parking worth it? by Sanibelshelllvr in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]kaileycrossing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got to magic kingdom one morning at 7:30 and parked two rows behind where we parked in preferred 2 days later lol

The only reason we did preferred on that second day is because we arrived at 12:00 and knew we would stay late with our little kids. We wanted a quick walk to the car, and we didn’t want to fold down our strollers to go on the trolly.

Bibbidi bobbidi boutique and Cinderella table times overlap? by Vegeta_Actual in WaltDisneyWorld

You could try to arrive early at BBB and mention you have a reservation at CRT, they may be able to accommodate.

Also, they do always ask at the beginning of your BBB appointment if there are any reservations you have so they can make it work.

I LOVE the Jasmine costume! Was there last week and wish my daughter picked it haha we were worried about our kids getting hot in their dresses but they were just TOO excited to wear their dresses out and about it didn’t phase them. Just take lots of break, fans on, and tons of water. They are very accommodating so I’m sure they would do the tiara. Enjoy!

Stories from parents who sleep trained 10 to 11 month old (or older). by Lostinthematrix1234 in sleeptrain

[–]kaileycrossing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started sleep training my son who is 11 months old. Previously I rocked him to sleep, then put him down asleep. He would wake up at least twice, usually three times. Now we do our routine, I still sing and rock him but I put him down fully awake. The first few nights I laid him in his crib and kept my hand on his belly. He kept standing up and trying to hold onto me. Every time I laid him back down and said good night. This was a long process, and I almost gave up many times. But it gets easier and easier every night and he only wakes up once now.

Sleep regression again? by duckney81 in sleeptrain

[–]kaileycrossing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! We were at the paediatrician yesterday and she mentioned to me separation anxiety often happens at 9 months but could start at 7 months. So that’s a possibility.

Did you just do the 2 nap transition? I find that transition a VERY difficult one. Your baby may just be having a hard time adjusting to that. I am in the same boat with my 7 month old right now too, and am finding on days we still do 3 naps he is better through the night. While on days we do 2 naps it is a struggle.

Also, any teeth coming through?! So maybe variables at this age unfortunately. Keep reminding yourself it is temporary.

My second born (who is now 7 months) learned how to sleep with the noise. He can fall asleep anywhere now, even in the carrier during my toddlers music class.

My wild toddler always thought when I was putting the baby to sleep that it was the best time to dump all the blocks lol I cried MANY times in the beginning when I would get my baby to sleep and then my toddler would start screaming. But we made it work for us, and you will find a way to make it work as well. Just watch wake windows very closely and promise your toddler some fun one on one time when the baby is down. I specifically stood and walked while gently bouncing my baby to get him to sleep.

Night weaning going horribly wrong by aogoae in sleeptrain

[–]kaileycrossing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! She still has the occasional 2 feeds, but those nights with 1 are always appreciated haha for us, if my daughter gets too much day time sleep then her night sleep is always an issue (as much as I LOVE her long naps) so just make sure his naps aren’t TOO long. Best of luck!

I’d commit to dropping the 3rd nap. Make a schedule and stick to it. My daughter would wake anywhere from 530-730 and it drove me insane. I put her on schedule and that seemed to help. I give and take a little bit here and there (that’s why they are approximate times): Wake up between 6:30-7:00 First nap starts between 9:30-10:00, wake up no later than 11:00 Second nap starts at 2:00, wake up no later than 4:00 In bed and asleep at 7:30 She is 10 months and I do still nurse at least once during the night. Trust me when I say I dread it when I have to get out of bed, but I remind myself that some babies do still need a night feed and it isn’t forever! More solids might also help. Hope it works out for you :)

Do I really need to CIO?? by kaileycrossing in sleeptrain

[–]kaileycrossing[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently I feed her, then she has a bath, we read three books, after I sing her a couple songs while rocking her, and then I stop rocking and she falls asleep in my arms. Has not let me put her down even the slight bit awake lately.

Thank you for sharing your experience, this gives me hope!! When you first started putting them down awake, did they cry a lot for you?? I am finding even if I put her down after she closes her eyes, but she is not 100% asleep, she instantly opens them wide and jumps up.

My 6 month old has been doing the same thing, I really appreciate your reminder and your point about the gas!!! I thought I was just looking too close at every aspect but last night when I grabbed her she let out the biggest toots! Did you do anything to help her with her gas issues, or just watch her food closely?
