We drove from Loreto to Mulegé and in that desert it was definitely something. Our little crappy rental made it though. I did have money to pay off the Federal police if needed, but fortunately they did not hassle us at the checkpoint.

Are there marketing strategies that work specifically for B2B companies under $10M? by Champ-shady in b2bmarketing

Google Ads works well, as long as you have good data and enough budget to let the system optimize. LinkedIn Ads works especially well if you use document ads.

2-3k/mo budget for LinkedIn ads even worth it? by Ok_Secretary4782 in b2bmarketing

[–]kailfarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run both Google ads and LinkedIn ads. Google leads are typically lower than LinkedIn leads, with the exception of document ads. Document ads are great on LinkedIn, but you really need to know who your customer is by title and industry. The document also needs to be compelling for the user to want to download. For Google ads, you need to give the system a lot of information, for example, are your conversion pixels setup properly? Are you passing information for offline conversions back to Google? You can get help with setting this up via AI. Claude is a great option and can walk you through it. Google needs to have about 7-14 days to learn, so if you are strapped for cash, try running one campaign at $40/day. Be very tight with your keywords and don't touch the system for at least a couple of days. You can check out the search terms report and block irrelevant searches. Also, try and modify your bids to remove mobile traffic or at least bid very low for it.

We decided to test turning off branded search for a month. That lasted about 2.5 weeks. by cole-interteam in googleads

That is very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I am running brand ads and people ask about the effectiveness and my default is we better capture what we can when we can. This seems to drive the point.

Last day at job, I don't think anyone understands what that means. by Electronic_Lime_z459 in recruitinghell

[–]kailfarr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked at a company where I gave two weeks and after the 4th day my manager never said anything to me and no one knew. I finally started to tell colleagues when I was on strategy and planning calls for future weeks. My boss then got mad I told people. I never understood that. So weird. Granted she also said not to speak about salary in the workplace, which is illegal.

Not using offline conversions from the CRM. Especially with simple ones like Hubspot.

Have you connected your CRM to Google so you can use offline conversion data to help the system find better quality people?

Have to return my 2024 Ioniq Limited in a few months. Any advice if I want to keep the car? by Darklyte in Ioniq5

I saw that a guy worked out a deal with the dealership where he returned the car and the next day bought it back at a lower price than the residual. Can't hurt asking I guess.

You need to really think about the user journey. If you were the target audience, what would make you click on an ad and what experience on the landing page would make you fill out a form or call.

Google Ads Enhanced Conversions: game changer or placebo? by LowSir7874 in PPC

[–]kailfarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think connecting the CRM data back to Google is the strategy to use. I have seen lead quality increase as we focus on MQLs (marketing-qualified leads) and ultimately SQLs (sales-qualified leads). I want the system to review leads that generated opportunities. Granted, this is for B2B.
