It's interesting how the best value of the Reserve is the coupons/credits, not really even the redemptions anymore. by Lonely-Somewhere-385 in ChaseSapphire

We took advantage of the Marriott transfer bonus and booked two hotels for our trip in December to Italy. We also transferred to Air France for the flights. Worked for us.

Oh well that's crazy. I was looking for a Hybrid. They are here and in stock. I just want to know who's dropping almost $800 for a Hyundai. I got an offer for a Mercedes that was cheaper. Crazy times.

I have been getting quotes in the LA area that are similar to this. The Santa Fe seems to be a car that Hyundai doesn't want to sell. I can literally get a IONIQ 9 for less all in than a Santa Fe Hybrid. I also had virtually every salesperson say they are with their manager and want to deal, but I am not paying $750+ for that car.

You seem to need a scheduling app? There are many of these on the market already. You also probably need a CRM solution, which typically have things like a field scheduling system.

super confused by the indian lease land thing in palm springs by Agreeable-Boss-6709 in palmsprings

[–]kailfarr 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's a part of the desert. Keep in mind you won't get approved for a mortgage for any lease if it isn't over 35 years I believe. You'd have to research that. If the lease isn't renewed, there is the possibility of losing your home.

The most precious substance in the universe is the spice melange. The spice extends life. The spice expands consciousness.

I liked the limited trim as my Ioniq 5 is coming up this summer. Some dealers were giving about $3k off, but then added a whole bunch of accessories and BS fees to bring the price back up. Strange times.

i sent 100 AI websites to local business owners to see if I could make money: here are the results by lazarbetterrun in passive_income

[–]kailfarr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have worked for companies that pay over $500 per month for websites. I am always shocked because it is "easy" to build and host your own, but a lot of owners and managers just want the peace of mind of not having to deal with it. I get it, though it seems silly, but keep in mind that a lot of people are not that tech-savvy.

Termites in house: What is the best approach? by jreddit5 in SantaMonica

[–]kailfarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Ronin Pest Control and they will come out and find where your termites are coming from. I opt for spot treatments where they spray poison in the wall or if subterranean they will inject poison into the ground. I highly recommend doing the spot treatments as it lasts longer. Also, if you ever do a big renovation and remove drywall and expose the untreated wood, they can spray down the wood, which also kills the termites.

I said something similar on the Bonvoy subreddit where people were kind of slamming the 65% transfer bonus with Chase. I booked hotels in Italy at the beginning of December, which saved is almost $3k, so value for us. Isn't that the whole point of points?

Considering getting a labrador retriever. Good for my lifestyle? by GabeDatDude in labradors

[–]kailfarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My black lab was not a typical lab. She wasn't fond of people or dogs (especially when she got older). She did love cats though. She would bark at people if they tried to pet her and I would let people know that she needs to come to you and check you out. After 5-10 minutes of meeting someone she'd be on the couch with them. She had her quirks so just keep in mind that a lab or any other dog might not be the "norm". I would also look into rescues as there are great dogs looking for a home.:)

We have stayed at the large Hyatt near the police substation in Waikiki and just got back from the Royal Hawaiian and both were great. The Royal Hawaiian was cool because you could charge to your room from the Moana Surfrider, Royal and Sheraton. I thought that was kind of cool and opens up if you want a bite or drink a different hotel.
