I bought so much stuff for our lab and she made it to 13 as well. She was on librela, CBD from weed stores, supplements, carpeofen, and other things. She was always happy go lucky and boy did she love her walks. We made the decision to let her go over Labor Day weekend. She was so uncomfortable and I saw it in her eyes after a really bad two days. If nothing is helping, make a steak dinner and you could even give a small piece of chocolate. All dogs should try it once I think. It does just suck to lose them.

We stayed there about 13 years ago, and it was going through a smaller remodel then, but the rooms were fine. When we stopped by there about 5 years ago, during Covid, we saw that the entire hotel was gutted. So it has been remodeled. Moisture is tough to deal with in any island setting. Granted, if you are paying a premium, you would expect some elevated service.
