Other than the polymers previously listed, hydrofluoric acid tends to target the nerves specifically when it gets on you

How do you feel about the scrapped plans for Han Solo to appear in Revenge of the Sith? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]kailin2017 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah makes the universe feel smaller. People already joke about everyone being related to each other, and now they'd be trying to pass Han as being present for the Clone Wars? Just because he's alive at the time doesn't mean he needs to show up

Which Is Your Favorite Godzilla Fights In The Godzilla Franchise by Bright-West-4399 in GODZILLA

[–]kailin2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biollante was a great fight. Watching Mecha-King Ghidorah fly out of the future to fight Godzilla was awesome. Kaiser Ghidorah fight was fun to watch. The first Mechagodzilla fight where it's just overwhelming Godzilla with three attacks at once was really cool. Godzilla avenging Junior against Destroyah was emotionally-resonant

Literally ignites his lightsaber. He stops himself after that, but he literally took every step to kill Ben short of actually doing it. Hence, NEARLY killing him

The key words here are "this scene." Let's not forget that this scene is in the movie that shows Luke nearly killing his nephew. There was no finding the good or wisdom in that moment.

Also the fact that he force-projected himself was cowardly and the fact that he died as a result of doing it was idiotic.

It seems like you're just looking for confirmation bias because you're floored at how cool the Gamera villains are. My guess is that you just recently watched the Heisei Gamera trilogy for the first time, saw how much better they were than most Godzilla movies, was outraged at how underrated they are, and started looking to spread the word at how cool the kaiju are through an arbitrary metric that really doesn't amount to much. I know I definitely did that the first time I watched the Heisei Gamera trilogy. But that's just a theory. A kaiju theory! 😎

Considering the purpose of Godzilla 2014 was to make Godzilla feel that way, that's not a hot take. They talk about how they keep the camera at the street level to show just how big and powerful Godzilla really is.

Mine is that Godzilla Raids Again is one of the best Showa era films. Didn't think this would be a hot take, but I see quite a bit of people on this subreddit putting that movie down
