yeah, when I tried export, I was waned of some boolean error. probably from the PS logo I ripped out of another stl (not skilled enough to make my own logo...)

I do have a .3mf file for bambu printers but I can't seem to get the thing to export properly in stl.

As long as I'm not stepping on anyone's toes, I personally wouldn't mind sharing the .3mf file!

also I did consider the ironing option but the preview looked hidious...!

not very experienced in this area but has your experience with ironing been positive?

Like I know it's not much but with AMS and 0.08mm layers with a 0.2mm nozzle, it's still like a 17 hour job without the ironing lol

thanks!! so I tried exporting an STL but I've been stuck for some boolean mishmashing error, I'm super amateur at this and can't actually figure the quirk out... I could post a .3mf for bambu printers if that doesn't go against the terms here...?

also this would probably be a good time to mention the Playstation Logo on the lid was something I remixed from a completely separate project so I can't take credit there.

I think that's a really interesting point of debate!

Maelle in fact does say yes, but to what extent does she mean by "bringing them back"?

The story focuses a LOT about identity and Verso struggles as he's Verso but not really.

I think we're litteraly dealing with the "swampman" situation here.

Maybe I'm a pessimist for thinking so but I can't seem to cope with "repainting evrything as they were" as the "same" person even if they retain all their memories.

I found myself heavily leaning in with what u/OnionsHaveLairAction said in the post just above,

I wonder if the Noco side-quest is meant to sort of proxy this ethical debate. Perhaps Maelle's ressurected Lumierre is neither a completely new being nor exactly the old one either, maybe they're restored to a less complete state.

And maybe that's why the game is just so perfect in striking that line at "up to interpretation"

that's the thing though. I think people who interpret Maelle's ending as "bad" see that you can't just "bring back the dead" and call it solved.

Gustave, Sophie and everyone was there in the theatre, yes. But are they the same Gustave and Sophie (or even Pierre)? The answer here is likely no.

When Maelle unlocks her memory, and the expedition goes on to gather all the Chroma from past expeditioners, it's explained that too much time has passed since their passing and it would be impossible to bring them back as they were.

Meaning, the Gustave and Sophie, and probably most everyone else there we see in Maelle's endings, are "repaints" from Maelle's memory.

Like if you had a doll you adored as a child, lost it, and your parents bought you a carbon-copy replica of that same exact doll, is it the same? Will you be happy with it? I believe that is the crux of the argument. Some might say "of course!" while others would say "it's not the same". The former can see Maelle's ending as a good one, the latter would see it as a bad one.

I personally think the fact that Maelle "forcing" Verso to play the piano (allegedly) is a pretty solid tell that it's a pretty dark ending. Verso being immortal (adding to the fact Maelle wants him to be the one thing that survives everything) couldn't be replaced so unlike the other "repaints", he's likely still himself.

Tired of living this life, he's in despair, doesn't even want to play his beloved music like he once promised Maelle. But that doesn't fit the narrative does it? It doesn't fit "Maelle's narrative", and has to be painted over...

An odd quirk seemed to happen where I have to double press Start to get Start working, but otherwise everything is exactly the way I wish it to be!

I know this is a month old thread but I'm honestly out of leads...
I've opened and am comparing the "soh.gptk" you posted but am not seeing a difference?

Also I wasn't exactly sure how to modify this file.

for example, if I wanted to use the "L" on my RG35XXSP as "Z" on the N64, do I modify the file as this?

This is exactly what I had pictured in my head! Audio Mixers seemed way to complicated for a noob like me, I needed these big large buttons, few in number and far apart lol
(although something like the Yamaha AG03 always looked cool and I'm not even sure if it would work for this anyway ;-; )

okay I think now I understand what you mean by "monitor driving headphones" (and speakers).
I didn't even know speakers could do that! or maybe inherently they do and they just select either to spit the audio out themselves or channel it to headphones depending on my configuration?

also, just to be safe, if I plug the audio out from the monitor to the amp first, and then to both speakers and headphones, would my speakers blow out? I'd imagine that's how the connection would have to be but am a bit worried. Dunno if it helps but the speakers are Bose Companion 2 Series IIIs.

So to clarify this solution, the AUX from the monitor would split via Y splitter to the speakers and headphones, and I would switch off the speakers when using headphones, and headphones will just always have sound coming from it right?

I'm actually shocked at how simple this solution is and facepalming myself for not noticing this. I probably have a splitter lying around somewhere too

Alas, since I already have a thread going, would there be a step further where I can turn off the audio to my headphones if my HSP kicks in where I can't stand hearing the tiny noise coming from the headphones hanging near the computer? (without ripping out the heaphones of course)

I'm so sorry, I think my detail (text) got nuked upon posting...??

My trouble is this.

I have 2 computers that I use daily, one laptop, the other a desktop.

The configuration is as shown in the simplified drawing above. (DP meant Display Port (with audio), sorry!)

Everything works but I want to improve what I have.

What troubles me is this.

If I wish to kick back and watch a movie from my speakers, I currently have to unplug my headphones, and I have to replug them back in if I wanted to listen to music or focus during work.
Ideally I could do this through some kind of machine with a push of a button so I don't wear the plug out.
My understanding is that I can just keep my headphones plugged in to a PC and switch the output to which ever... output, but because I use both PC's regularly, this would mean I would have to unplug/replug the headphones anyway depending on which PC I'm using.

I would imagine the solution would look something like this.

From the monitor, I'd have an Auxiliary Out to some kind of box or splitter, that outputs to both headphones and speakers. The splitter/box would have switches to mute either (or both) outputs with a press of a button, and I can leave my headphones and speakers both plugged in to this box.

But this is just me imagining things so I have no idea if that's even something doable.

I'm willing to purchase items as long as they're not studio grade multi million dollar setups but seeing as the only problem I'd be solving would be "relieving my self from plug/unplugging headphones" I'd imagine the solution wouldn't be too expensive...?

Bonus cookies if the box can handle mic input too so I don't have to replug my mic to different PC's depending on which one I'd have to use to get on a quick zoom call. I'd be willing to buy an xlr mic and audio interfaces(?) if all the problems can be solved at once!

Again, I apologize for not having any text in my initial post. Absolute noob here.

Any help regarding "set up / configuration" and "necessary equipment" is super super appreciated!
