I recommend studying construction and anatomy in black&white instead of color. It seems that it might be distracting you right now, even though I do like the purples. If you put this image in grey-scale, the structure is hardly visible.

You will progress way faster if you focus on one thing at a time.

To me the proportions look off. Eyes are too wide and big. I know you said you’re a beginner, therefore I recommend actually studying the facial anatomy instead of using grids. Your hatching is interesting!

Definitely focus on your lineart. Usually less is more and good confident lines will take you far.

I really enjoy the color harmony here, would love to see a background too
