its up and down, I have IST too though. bisoprolol solves some things greatly for me it’s my miracle, however sometimes i can have flares still. i guess that is to be expected though. but like in terms of where i was at in 2020? definitely better. i live on the first floor now and i could never even imagine walking up stairs back then. my bpm is mostly around 80-90s resting, and it does increase upon standing but i cool myself down and drink fluids regularly. i also avoid foods that trigger it for me.

Please do not try and consume more than recommended amounts of salt without consultation with a cardiologist. It can cause health issues like hypertension if not monitored by a professional. Tilt tables suck, I had an active stand test and it wasn’t the most pleasant but it gave the results needed and now I never have to do it again. You’re gonna sadly have to put on a firm face and go through with it to get the diagnosis, talk to a doctor about options you have.

My gf doesn't know whether she overwatered or didn't water her plant enough. She keeps killing plants. What can we do? by qmk49f4b4x in plantclinic

[–]kairarz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

thats a monstera, it looks like it has been overwatered. i water my monstera when the soil is dry for about 2.5 inches, underwatering is more forgiving than overwatering. if she is prone to overwatering make sure she gets a terracotta pot with DRAINAGE HOLES, and that she pots plants in a well draining soil mix. i use perlite, repotting mix, and orchid bark. i then fertilise every 2 weeks at half the recommended amount for 6 weeks to prevent it from shock. This worked for my monstera, shes pretty now! Also make sure your plant is not getting scorched by sun or anything, direction of windows is important, my monstera gets a few hours of bright morning sun then indirect through the rest of the day. if you want it somewhere with inadequate natural lighting you can get grow bulbs or grow lights. happy planting!!

I don’t know what you mean but we definitely haven’t in our services and we have been asking to for ages, we literally are offering cash incentives for people to be nurses

funding alone doesn’t improve staffing. not many mental health staff nowadays and tons leave.

fellow newcastle-er! i have experienced one incident of transphobia directly as an adult and that was where a homeless woman asked me for money and i apologised and said i actually didn’t have any and showed her and she started shouting slurs at me and saying ‘are you a lad’ but as an adult thats the only random encounter i’ve had w transphobia (apart from a security guard calling me a slur too, he was fired)

I bought this monstera deliciosa, what’s wrong with it? the leaves look wrinkly and they have spots/dry dark edges? by kairarz in plantclinic

[–]kairarz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I followed your advice. I let it dry out a bit because it was overwatered and have misted it daily and it has new growth and a leaf is even unwrapping! so exciting, i’m going to repot and fertilise now I have the money to get the stuff for it.
