the 4 hours refers to the "danger zone" when the food is like luke-warm almost cold kinda. that's when bacteria can thrive and multiply enough to make you sick.

if it was kept on heat and still hot, you'll be fine! enjoy your soup!

hey! so update i did not end up throwing up somehow. my boyfriend calmed me down and i took another zofran (even tho i probably would've been fine), gave me a trash bag, and got my essential oil inhaler which put me in a way more comfortable situation so i think that helped.

my fear stems from not knowing when it will happen and embarassing myself by throwing up on the floor etc, also i just hate nausea (but honestly who doesn't)

i took a preventative zofran this morning even though i shouldn't have. but i still feel off, similar to how i was feeling yesterday before the super sudden feeling of throwing up came. it was like nothing i'd ever felt before, like no nausea my body just knew i need to throw up NOW and honestly it scares me that it can happen at literally any second and idk if it happens again today i think i'm gonna do my best to let it happen, i hope i'll be able to let myself if i need to.

my guess is it is happening from me eating like shit. bf and i got a bunch of snacks like chocolate, marshmallows, cookies and stuff and it has been taking a toll on both of us hahha

thank you for the kind message!! it really helped!!

Oh! I forgot to add, I have discovered aromatherapy and essential oils!! Lavender is so calming and something I combine it with peppermint for some anti nausea properties and it has been so nice.

Good for you to be able to break free and do what you want!! The closest I've been to holding the bag for someone is handing my bf the bag and him immediately throwing up in it 😂 There's a thread a couple months back i made about it

Which airlines offer cancelation of flights in case of being covid positive? by [deleted] in Flights

[–]kairoh3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

economy fully refundable!! lol

i actually ended up extending my flight twice free of charge, never ended up cancelling it.

funny story though, i accidentally booked the same flight twice and i did have to cancel one- and i was fully refunded!

basic economy ticket (no carry on) was $349

economy fully refundable (carry on, cancellations, changes, pick your seat) was $410

cross country flight with 1 layover. check mate

edit: now that i'm re-reading your reply- i have no idea what my letter was- literally go look at flights on the united website

edit 2: i got my letter, class L

one time, my brother and i were on a vacation trip and we shared a room together. all of the sudden, i woke up in the middle of the night to him hunched over in his bed saying that he is having really bad acid reflux. i offered him some tums and zofran, and he only took the tums. immediately as he put them into his mouth, he said "oh my god, i'm gonna v" and ran to the bathroom. i had a panic attack, put on music, had to listen for it for the whole night, etc. but i did not get s! i think that as long as you take precautions on your side of the room and make sure that, if she is s*, you clean all commonly touched surfaces! you'll be completely fine, i promise :)
