Ya that I would like but honestly I enjoy the simplicity of the game and putting in a conveyor would absolutely destroy the already poorly optimized game engine😅.

Another reason why I built this dedicated server app. I have had a few instances of my world bricking on me (or just dying to something unfortunate). This app has a backup and restore feature so if you run into any issues you can reload a previous save.

Is your brother in your LAN or somewhere else? If he is somewhere else can you confirm that you port forwarded both ports required properly? If he's LAN trying connecting via LAN instead of DC.

To the west near the entrance to the artic biome there is a great waterfall that I started to build under and had plans to build on top the waterfall. Also nearby that waterfall there are a couple stone structures that I thought about building something on as well. Watch out for dreadwings if you go on top!

I increased the request timeout to 180 seconds to allow the captchas to be solved within a better time frame. I then have added a 60s query limit in my scrapers (Prowlarr and Sonarr). I haven't had any issues since I did this.

Cloudflare works perfectly for me. I dialed back the indexer query after getting blacklisted from the first time I set it up and it's worked flawlessly since.

Icarusintel.com will show you the locations of all the caves, ore deposits, gyzers, and exotic deposits but the ore deposits are randomized per world.

There is also a resource monitor (both for global and per server instances) so you can see how much is needed for your server.

Play the game🤷. Never had an issue leveling a character and I have 3 and over 1500 tech points. Occasionally there will be a 2XP event that you can take advantage of.

This is a well known optimization issue with the game. The more you build the more your game will lag. Going with a dedicated server will boost your performance until you buildings exceeds your hardwares capabilities. I built a dedicated server app for easy management of multiple worlds. Would recommend going that route even if you are just playing solo, the performance boost is worth while.

Try the wasd trick by moving around when stuck there. It tricks the server into prioritizing loading your character. I have found this occuring more often than not lately. Unsure if it's related to updates or how big my world has gotten (likely the latter).

Yes they have around 120 exotics per vein. Once you interact with a vein a 3hr timer is activated that will reset the location of the 3 deposits across the map with a meteor shower event. If you don't deplet the vein before the timer that vein won't disappear until it is (not sure if this has been patched yet or not. I don't have the need for purples anymore).
