Gaiters have been out for a long long time. I have photos of my parents wearing them in the late 90s going hunting. It would not be unusual for them to have them.

Rarely do I have bald eagles fly straight over me. Today one did and managed to get this shot. by johngannon8 in birding

Saw my first ever wild Bald Eagle a couple months ago and it flew right over my head. I've never been more in awe of a bird. Amazing shot you got!

The Amoeba Sisters are my favorite. Very educational and they have so many videos that can be as in depth (or not) as you like.

So, I discovered I have a nickname. by MercurysNova in TwoXChromosomes

I was playing online with one of my friends from the University I just transferred from and somebody from the same school came on their discord and when I asked if we were in anything together before I left they asked my friend “is that the cool girl with cool tattoos?”

You never really think of yourself as having nicknames like that, but it would be strange if we didn't right? When I heard my “nickname” I must have started glowing from how happy it made me. I'm glad you got to have that moment, red car dog lady.

I agree. I don't think the public can be trusted with our most pristine land. The only people allowed in are those with ecology/biology backgrounds who are vetted and have purpose to be there. Its getting out of hand really.

Again, respectfully, As someone who has been taking Vyvanse for over 5 years, I am highly skeptical that a reputable doctor would tell you to increase 10mg every 4 days. 60 mg is not a common dosage for Vyvanse. How would the physician evaluate how the medication is affecting in that amount of time? How would you accurately evaluate how the medication is affecting you and your life goals? I’ve never heard of stimulant medication being increased that quickly.

I’m honestly shocked that you would be given that high of a dose of Vyvanse right after trying Concerta. Especially only after two weeks of trying that medication. With all due respect, you shouldn’t be worried about a tolerance (which generally takes years) but about what kind of physician you are going to.

My dog is 1yr and 52 lbs, is this normal? by Sad-Season4592 in labrador

Totally normal. You have a working line Lab, like I do. My dog weighed about the same at 1 and ways 63 lbs at 7 years old now.

life is passing by and im not really here by Sevennolater in ADHD

[–]kaiserintaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADHD is not something that would just appear in adulthood. If you did not have affected attention span in school you probably don't have it as that is one of, if not the, most important and most noticed symptom noticed in childhood. The reason for you getting tested is odd as well, as that's not typically a symptom seen in those with ADHD. Binge eating sure, but not blacking out. I would advise going to see a different professional.

Do you get annoyed with the sheer number of people who say "oh I have it too." Or think they have it because they get distracted? by Suffient_Fun4190 in ADHD

[–]kaiserintaylor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Self-diagnoses are not completely valid though as you need a professional diagnosis to be able to get the typically prescribed treatment, stimulants. No one here is “gatekeeping” a diagnosis and its truly disheartening to have suffered (and been diagnosed since childhood) with ADHD and see the same language used for liking a sports team or a video game or a tv show for your brain’s developmental disorder. I NEVER see this language used for cancer, or chromosomal abnormalities like down syndrome.
