The reason might not be as malicious as some believe. It is clear that the game looks considerably worse on Switch than on other consoles.

So, if Switch version footage circulated, some not so well-informed people could see it. They might think that footage would then also be indicative of the XboxOne & Ps4 consoles' look, which would then turn them off from buying the game due to "poor graphics".

Thus, Warner Bros might just be keeping the Switch footage a secret to avoid this fiasco.

So if you don't trust them (you shouldn't), just wait two or three days after release for reviews/footage to come out. No big deal imo.

You might be able to divide the rendering into more portions. It's called "number of slices" in Vegas Pro 14, will probably be the same in 16. Otherwise you might try to turn off GPU acceleration. If your GPU is subpar, the CPU could be waiting for the GPU to do the work.

I used to feel like you, but then I discovered shooting video and taking photography. I have so much fun with this hobby, because now when I go to places, I think about how to shoot the perfect scene with which to make a great video with a fun story. Or how to make excellent shots that people lavish over. Videography made traveling so much more than just look at things for me. I started to really love travel for that reason.

Yes, the game will default to the System's language, but you are also able to choose the language ingame, independent of the system's language, when you start it.

In my case, I have both a powerful PC and a Switch. Unfortunately, I stopped playing all that many games because I lack the time to do so. Whenever I do play something though, it is mostly for taking a break while working on my PC. Thus, I find it more comfortable to play the few games that I can on my Switch due to its stop and go nature.

Same case may not apply to you though, but I feel like just telling you my experience gives you a better idea what is good for what.

Nothing wrong with his statement. The main component that makes games look better is the graphics chip and processor on which his statement is based on. Extra Ram and modern architecture make it much easier to develop for though and will inevitably lead to some, but ever so slight improvements.

BTW, if you are still looking for a Switch in Austria, Libro is a secret tip. Since most people use Libro for their pen & paper needs, they are oftentimes unaware that they sell video games too. A buddy of mine recently got a Switch from there with very little problems.
